Just took a pic of me in my wedding dress from 08 at my reception and one of me today, I don't look preggo!! Sadly enough, I 've never been preggo but that's where I carried the weight... And my boobs have gone down too as the top of my dress was very tight fitting then. When I hung it up that night, we barely loosened the back and it was a tight fit coming off, now the top almost falls off!!! Woot woot!!!

I finished week6 this week of C25K and felt pretty good! I've been eating lots of veggies this week, I even tried asparagus, not too bad!! Anyway, I weigh in tomorrow, but I had to share my news!!! See ya tomorrow morning!

    XoxoxoX Bru

Keep up the great work, Bru! You're doing awesome! I can't wait till I can say I finished C25K!

I tried increasing my fruits this week, which I've done a pretty good job of doing, however I noticed not much in the veggie department. :grumble: I need to figure out my meals to get both in. I don't know what the deal is with me!

Good luck in your weigh in tomorrow! And also to everyone else! Hope you are all having a great week & a great weekend is coming! :drinker:

Hi all! I am so close to done I can SMELL the finish line! I have class tomorros, and then all that's left is the shouting. Oh, and papers! I am almost finished with 2 of my 3 papers, so that should be a snap. After I return home tomorrow night, I will do some quick laundry, and then begin packing for vacation! We are going to "the land of enchantment" (aka New Mexico) for a week. Since I am traveling with my family, and beside the 2 people who are pregnant (who are both on MFP), only 2 of the 9 adults are NOT using MFP. SOOOO hopefully that means I will have an easier time with watching my food.

On a total different subject, HAVE YOU TRIED THE NEW RECIPE CALCULATOR????? OMGosh, I have been hounding Mike forEVER for this! (Probably why they got it out as fast as they could! ) I haven't put any recipes yet, but I will as soon as I'm home again. I am SOOOOO excited about this feature! (Bet you couldn't tell, huh? )

Well, that's my life in a nutshell right now. I hope everyone has a GREAT weekend and week! I will TRY to check in Saturday morning, but I think we are leaving at "0 dark 30" so that may not happen.

    Keep making those good choices!

Good afternoon and Thank Goodness It's Friday! It has been a very long work week and I'm looking forward to chilling out this weekend before hitting the streets of Boston next week. Since I was on a mini vacay last week and will be on another one next week I've not been following the P90X workouts. I just decide what I have time to do and select a workout. Today I completedd the Cardio X workout b/c I was pressed fort time. We had a unit meeting today so had to get here early. Nonetheless, the workout is done and I'm happy.

Great job everyone. I see the numbers continually decreasing which means we are doing something right and if we continue at this pace we will all have attained our goal.

I am going to be having surgery some time soon... probably in the next couple of weeks. That will put a damper on my exercise regimen, but it's not supposed to be too bad. Hopefully I can still do yoga, etc. Anyway, thanks for keeping me motivated during a truly chaotic summer! : ) It's not bad... just chaotic!

I just checked the calendar & my cruise is in exactly 90 days from today! WOW! Its coming up FAST! So I'm getting my butt back in gear & worked off! I want to lose 9 lbs this month so I can be at 220! I weigh in on Monday, so I'm going to work it as much as possible today & tomorrow! So I better get to it!

If I can be at 200 by the cruise I will be ecstatic! I'd LOVE to be under that, but if I hit 200 that's 29 lbs in 90 days! That ALONE will be a challenge!

Good afternoon and I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday afternoon! After an extremely long and somewhat difficult work meeting (supervisor was not in the best mood) yesterday I had a headache and could not wait to get home and chill out. I ended up falling asleep early but of course could not sleep the whole night so around midnight I was up channel surfing. At 3 am I was still up watching tv and came across the movie "Eddie Murphy - Raw". It was a movie w/Eddie doing stand up comedy back in the late 80's. The movie is very vulgar so if cursing/raunchiness is not your thing you definitely would not enjoy it but I love this movie. I can't believe I actually was able to see it when it first premiered in 1987 b/c I was only 14 years old. As an adult, I know there was no way I should of been aloud to see this movie so the movie theater was definitely messed up by letting my friends and I in. Anyway, watched the movie until 5 am and was up by 8:30 am.

Today's workout is complete. I was able to complete 2.5 miles of a Leslie Sansone dvd while holding 3 lb weights in each hand before I began giving my house a thorough cleaning. I always try to give the house a nice thorough cleaning before leaving on vacation but was so busy w/work assignments that I could not do it before heading to PA, so, I got it in today.

Kelly: If you stay focused you have a great chance of achieving your goal by the time you leave for your cruise. Good luck.

Sphinctress: Hope your surgery and recovery go smoothly and your grinding it out really soon. Great job w/the 4 lb loss too.

Good afternoon everyone! Since today is my rest day I kept the exercise very light. It started w/a 35 minute full body stretch that was absolutely wonderful. It's amazing how good you can feel after a great stretch. After the stretch I got dressed and headed to the movies. I had heard great things about Karate Kid II so I decided to check it out. I parked a little over a mile away from the theater and walked there and back. So a total of 2.2 miles done along w/a great stretch.

Good idea in parking a mile away from the theater! I went to a musical today with my mom & sister & parked at the bottom of a steep hill that had steps all the way up to the theater. Those steps were killer, & my mom was laughing at herself for doing it. She gets around pretty awesomely *(is that a word) for being 67 years old! Today was pretty much a rest day here as well. Only got half my yard mowed & did a quick DVR dance workout.

See you all tomorrow for check in! I'm hoping the scale likes me. I didn't do good at all today on my water. :grumble: And that is RARE for me. All I drink is water unless its a glass of milk occasionally. I should have taken a bottle with me to the musical. :ohwell:

Only 4 pounds away from 118 - where I would like to change from losing to maintaining my weight. Really exciting! I started level 3 of the 30 Day Shred and am so surprised with how far I've come. I can do push-ups for the first time EVER and I can really see and feel the change in my body. Life is pretty good right now :)

Good afternoon everyone! I hope this post finds everyone in good health and spirits. I procrastinated, procrastinated, procrastinated about getting this workout in today. I have to admit I really didn't feel like working out today, so, I convinced myself to only do 30 minutes of the P90X leg and Back routine AND THANKFULLY once I got going I found a second wind and was able to rock out the ENTIRE routine. I hope this is not going to happen all week. I leave for Boston Thursday morning so my plan is to continue w/the P90X workouts until then. Once I get to Boston I'll have to play everything by ear.

well, i'm not sure, but as much as my rate of loss has slowed i may not make 165 by labor day. (especially since between now and then we are moving half way across the country, and that will probably reek havoc with my eating and exercising habits) still i won't change the goal yet. let's see how the next couple of weeks go.

Good morning everyone and Happy Tuesday! In two days I'll be among family and friends in Boston and I can't wait. It's been almost a year since I've been home so I'm super excited. I decided to switch up today's workout. Instead of completing the Plyometrics dvd from the P90X program I did Billy Blanks (Taebo instructor) Cardio Bootcamp and it was great. This workout "takes some of the most active moves from his cardio kickboxing routine and combines them with hard hitting interval training". Resistance bands are used for the majority of the workout and they really ramp up the routine and make you feel the burn. Since I had only done this routine one time everything was brand new and really fun. I may even take the dvd w/me to Boston so I complete it one more time while there (undecided as of now).

My foot had been hurting for several months, and I just ignored it. I also have a small knot on the top of my foot. I finally went to the doctor a month ago, and she said I cracked a small bone in the top of my foot, probably a stress fracture from exercising. She didn't do much except tell me no exercising and keep my foot elavated as much as possible. After 2 weeks, I called back to let her know it's still hurting. This time she said she looked at my x-rays again and there was no fracture, so all I know is it hurts really bad all over and I am ready to be able to exercise again! I have an appointment with a podiatrist next week.

Good morning and happy hump day! I can't believe I'm on week 11 of the P90X program. There were definitely days when I didn't think I was going to make it but the light is definitely at the end of the tunnel now. Unfortunately, as of tomorrow I'll be out of town and unable to continue with the P90X dvds but will find a way to get some type of exercise in. Today I completed the back and bicep dvd and was really able to rock it out.

Thanks for the list, Katie! Thankfully I think I've had only a McD's shake, but its been a long time & I think it was before the triple think ones came out! Still....I know I'll never have one again!

I had a craving today for a McD's Iced Coffee, but I had no idea what the calories were on it, so I decided to go fill my gas tank up instead! I am going to check McD's website now though just to see if I can ever fit it in my day!

    Thanks again!

Good evening everyone. Im posting late b/c as you all know I am in my hometown of Boston visiting friends and family. I arrived at 10 am this morning and have yet to stop running. I was able to visit w/my grandmother, hang out w/a very good friend, have lunch w/high school friends, workout w/another high school friend, have dinner w/other friends and then spend time w/my cousin and her children.

Despite how crazy my day has been I was still able to get in some good workouts. First, I started the morning with 1.5 miles of the Leslie Sansone workout (holding 3 lb weights), then instead of taking the train to my concourse I walked which was another mile and then I met a high school friend for a turbo kickboxing class at her local gym this evening. So, I really burned some calories.

Well this week was rough for me, TOM started Monday and I've never had cramps like these. I did great on fruits and veggies instead of other sweets and salts, but I didn't do too much for exercise the last day or so. I'm going to weigh in again on Monday after TOM is long gone just to see, but won't record anything officially til next Friday. I finished Week7 of C25k and Week 8 starts Mon depending on heat/rain. I'm headed to the Lake of the Ozarks with my hubbys and his guy friends this weekend, fun fun :D Dpwnfall is that my exercise will only include grocery shopping later today and maybe fishing (but I dont think I burn that much fishing) otherwise we'll be on the boat pretty much all of today and tomorrow. I know for sure we will have fast food tonight and Sunday and headed to a sit down restaurant Sat for a friends bday, but I plan on doing the grocery shopping ;) Gonna have carrots, broccoli, apples, grapes, etc to get me through the weekend :) AND TONS OF WATER !! ANyway, hope you all have a great weekend, here's my stats:
