I helped out a family friend from about 15 y/o by working the tills at their butchers around Christmas every year..

Oddly enough you get a fierce amount of abuse as a vegetarian working in a butchers..

My first job was driving the tractor raking hay for my Grandpa as he drove behind me and bailed it. I was hired to drive a tractor and rake hay. I drove a tractor, raking hay. Saved up that summer and bought my first shotgun with the money.

My first actual job was dishwasher at a local restraunt. I was hired to wash dishes. Big suprise...I washed dishes.

I had a summer job as an event coordinator and did just that.....contracts, planning, reception work, etc

And an after school job at a tanning salon.....sales, cleaned beds, talked to way too many boys, and became tanorexic (which is hard to believe since some here call me pale, lol)

Ten years later, I still take a weeks vacation from my job every year to help as an event coordinator during their busiest week!! :)

Luckily that didn't last long and I spent the rest of my high school days as a camp counselor at the local rec center. Best job ever.

I babysat for one of my neighbor's young kids when I was in high school. Paid me $10 an hour. Did that for two years until I went to college.

A chain drugstore in my area. I was hired to be a cashier and stock shelves. I wound up being the customer service desk person for about 3 years (until I started college and got an easier & better paying cashier job in a supermarket). At the drugstore I also filled in for other departments like photo, liquor, and pharmacy.
