Awwww I'm kinda hurts. OP just added me a couple of days ago, and deleted me because I'm still in my 20s!?

Hurt, oh so verily hurt *hmph!*

As I said on a friend's page regarding this thread, OP is socially inept.

I think it's fine if you want friends from your age group--nothing weird or wrong about that at all.

It's the fact that OP decided to make a thread, in Motivation and Support, no less, about how he deleted all his younger friends because they can't possibly understand his struggle, and don't have to work as hard as he does to lose weight/achieve some arbitrary level of fitness.

    Emotional intelligence=0

Dude, you ignored the fact that all those young people who you unfriended learned at younger age than you did!

So the lovely guy who started this post had added me as a friend a few days before this post (I am 33) and then unfriended me a few days later when he made this post. Now I get this message:

"Hello, Pretty Lady. How did you come up with the name UrbanLotus?"

LMAO really David?? After this soapbox? Instead of responding I'm just posting this ridiculousness here.

"Married dad trying not to lose the grip on youth."

You want what they've got. Seems a little hypocritical to deem them non-inspirational.
  • I'm only friending people who are awesome, funny, or have huge wangs.

Sorry, OP. You didn't make the cut.

EVERYONE needs motivation and support for their goals.

EVERYONE who works hard to stay in shape deserves props for doing so.

LOL no big story behind it really - I really like lotuses (lotusi? lotii?), they are representative of my Indian heritage...and I'm an Urban/city kinda girl, so I thought it just fit :)

You never know when someone will come up with a new idea; he lost out
but maybe he has the wrong ideas about what these "friends" are for. The younger than 4

  • I somewhat agree. I always ate like a slob and didn't exercise, but never became overweight. Still haven't. Of course everybody is different.

I find that view kind of sad, honestly. I've been overweight for 9 years but you think it wouldn't be "impressive" for me to lose 100lbs?

Well said. Everyone has their own struggles no matter what the age.
