Pickles have that much protein?! I need to start eating them more often if they do!

Not the pickles themselves, but the egg substitute used in the coating has lots of protein :)

I couldn't have found this post at a better time. I was going to make fried pickles last night but we didn't have some of the ingredients. I decided to make them Saturday instead, now I might make both these and fried pickles. My fiance may prefer the original, but I will try to get him to try these so we can both start eating healthier. Thanks for the recipe.:flowerforyou:

to further cut the sodium try using panko bread crumbs and just sprinkle with a little garlic/onion powder...

This is what I used! Gives them more of a crunch.

I made these but they were so gross we threw them out. Sorry OP. I don't know if I did something wrong but I am a good cook and everything felt right. It was so salty I couldn't eat it. I have never had a fried pickle before, so I don't have that to compare it to.
