    small goal for May 100 miles (all stationary)

    5/1- 4.6 miles (20 mins)
    5/9- 11 miles (47 mins)
    5/14- 12.2 miles (53 mins)
    5/17- 5.25 miles (22 mins)
    5/22- 7.25 miles (30 mins)
    5/24- 4.5 miles (18 mins)
    5/28 - 7 miles (30 mins)

    not going to make goal...oh well. Still very happy with the rides I did get in

    I just bought a bike last weekend so I am starting this challenge late but I am in! I haven't ridden a bike in over 31 years till last week again.
    I love it!

    spfldpam - I was wondering what bike you bought?

    My goal for May is 150 miles.

    So far, I'm at 107. I'm going for at least 14 miles per day until the end of the month to see if I can make it.

    5/16 - 5 miles and 2.6 miles for 7.6 miles today.
    5/17 - rest day.
    5/18 - 5 miles and 2.6 miles for 7.6 miles today.
    5/19 - 5 miles and 2.6 miles for 7.6 miles today.
    5/20 - 5 miles and 2.6 miles for 7.6 miles today.
    5/21 - 5 miles and 3.4 miles for 8.4 miles today.
    5/22 - 6 miles.
    5/23 - 5 miles.
    5/24 - 5 miles and 2.4 miles for 7.4 miles today.
    5/25 - 6 miles and 1 mile for 7 miles total today.
    5/26 - Zero. Rest day. Too fatigued to do anything. Bummer because the weather was perfect.
    5/27 - 2 miles. Still fighting fatigue (as well as fluid on my knee).
    5/28 - 5 miles even though I'm still not feeling well. With three days to go, I'd like to double my original goal. I'm close.
    5/29 - 3.1 miles and JUST missed thunderstorm (or I would have gone 5 miles).

    Goal for month - 80 miles. Reached May goal on 5/15/2013.

    MTD - 154.4 miles.

    I bought a 7 speed Schwinn at Meijer on sale. It was usually $170 and it was on sale for like $159.99 and I got 10 % off, 15% off and then another 10% off brining it down to like $110. It is a Sanctuary model. I really like it and has already paid for itself.

    5/19/13-7.25 miles in 45 minutes
    5/20/13 biked 1/2 hour on my lunch hour. Wanted to bike that evening but we had bad storms so I couldn't. My Endomondo app shut itself off during my ride so I don't have distance to log for this day.
    5/21/13 didn't get to ride due to bad weather-Darn!
    5/22/13 no bike ride.
    5/23/13 no bike ride due to side hurting all day
    5/24/13 rode 35 minutes my endomondo app shut off while biking so mileage known.
    5/25/13 rain all day no bike ride
    5/26/13 Bad weather no bike ride
    5/27/13 13.25 miles in 80 minutes
    5/28/13 no bike ride today raining! Darn! I am on vacation and was hoping to get another 13 mile ride in today. Hopefully will be able to on Wed before I go back to work on Thursday.
    5/29/13 no bike ride went to gym and then dog agility class in the evening, was bad weather on my lunch hour so I couldn't fit a short ride in then either. This darn raining weather!
    5/30/13 rain again here today! Probably no bike ride! DARN! :(

    My goal is to ride to work every day that it is not raining or so windy I have to walk my bike because I cannot get going faster that I can walk...... not sure how far that will be but I have my car today and I will track the millage.

    MTD - 167 miles. Woot! It was a good month. Now, it's getting very hot here and will need to adjust my schedule to ride closer to dusk. Getting some reflector stuff too. :smile:
