    Congrats to everyone that lost weight this week!! Whether it was a lot or not really doesn't matter it's a step in the right direction we need to learn how to take the negative wording out when we are sharing our success!! Everybody body size and journey are different but we are here to supprt everyone in there efforts just the same!

    I am apart of a couple different challenges right now and they really help to keep me focused!! I just think we need to appreciate all the hard work we put in even on the weeks when we don't lose you can still see the positive it doesn't only depend on the scale!!

    I'm saying that because I keep seeing "I only" I only lost, I only worked out, I only did and believe me I am guilty of it also but I think we all are worth much more than only because if you worked out 1 day this week it is more than none If you lost an ounce it's more than none and we have to start appreciating the little things they add up to the great things in life......."Rome wasn't built in a day" and we didn't gain weight overnight so enjoy the process and acknowledge all the great things while on the journey big or small!!

    Amen, sister! I love everything you just said. It's frustrating to hear people putting themselves down and cutting themselves short. We are so emotionally connected to everything around us that we don't see things objectively. Weight, exercising, eating are facts. We choose how to think about them and how to feel about them, and what to do about them!!

    I gained a pound this week. I didn't exercise, I overate a little too much, and it's my TOM. Now, that week is over and I am ready to workout again. The cloud finally lifted today and I decided to be happy. I feel great.

    Congratulations to everyone on here for just being here! :flowerforyou:

    Ugh. I was SO EXCITED for weigh in this week. I worked so hard and ate so well all but one day, where I was still under my maint cals. I had a deficit by my bodybugg of over 7500 calories, which SHOULD have been 2 pounds. I measured all my foods, ate plenty of fresh fruits. Down .2. I am glad for the loss, but I worked so hard.... :(. Maybe it will catch up next week. Maybe I'll up my food a bit.

    A 7500 calorie burn that is amazing!! How many calories do you eat each day? That definitely sound like you may want to check that out especially when everything else went so well I sure hope it pays off for you this next week keep pushing forward your doing an amazing job!!! Another thing how is your water intake?

    Hi CN! I always wonder if your name is Beth. You are so positive and supportive...I think you are wonderful :).

    Most days my calories are in the range of 1500-1600. Sometimes as high as 1900-2000. Ideally I try to not have a greater deficit than 1000-1500 calories to what my Bodybugg says. If I have a total burn of 3500 cals for the day, I will try to eat 2000. That's becoming easier and easier as I lose weight though, since my total burn has dropped drastically even with increased activity. Most days my total burn is around 3000.

    As far as my water goes, I track up until I hit 10 glasses, and then I generally stop counting. It's not unusual for me to drink 16+ cups a day. (I drink bottled water since our water here is awful, and each of those is 16.9 ounces which I count as 2 cups.) I really sweat a lot during a workout, so I definitely need that much. You can wring out my shirt and sport bra afterwards. Maybe in this heat it's still not enough?

    Jessica you are doing a great job with your food and water and sometime the scale get's stuck we just have to do something to shock our bodies back on track. I sent you a few things I have seen work for other people and I hope your hard work show on the scale very soon I know it can be hard sometimes but hang in there you may want to look at other measures of success how are your clothes fitting look at the amount of calories your burning in a day were you always doing that or is that new? If it's new think of how far you have come so many wonderful things to be proud of great job!!

    Hi all haven't posted all week but have been Reading all of your posts. Well done to all of you with a loss this week. I didn't lose any this week and put on 0.4 lb instead iam hoping it was down to me not drinking enough water last week. Have still been doing loads of exercise.

    In fact just come back from doing an 8km (5 mile) summer solstice run I was hoping for a sub 50 minutes,to my surprise I done it in 44min 15secs, I was averaging under 9 min mile, wooohoooo that weight that's come off has certainly helped

    I have a summer ball to look forward to tommorow,& I had to go buy a new dress for it last week as the one i was going to wear was too big! lol

    hopefully I will have a weight loss to record next Tuesday

    Awesome Job on your run time and to be buying a smaller dress I say whatever to the scale it definately shows you been doing something right shedding inches keep up the great work!!!! If you weighed on the day of the race I'm sure you were filled with water for your big event. Enjoy your weekend again that is really inspiring such great things to be proud of!!!

    yesterday i went to bookman's to look for a few gifts for a few of my fave men in my life right now...4 including an 8 year old, 9 year old...and 6 year old along with a 39 year old in which i'm very much in love with right now....still working on getting with him...so i bought an xbox controller for the original xbox console and i also looked in the fitness videos for the p90 that i saw there a couple days ago...unfortunately it was no longer there :cry: ....i did see a few that i wanted to get but i couldn't afford it was the entire set of the jillian michaels the biggest winner set...but i decided to get the jillian michaels the biggest winner cardio kickbox video along with george foreman's walk and box....i never tried the jillian michaels cardio kickbox before but i have tried the george foreman and i loved that.....i'll add it to my regular exercise routine next week

    Yoooohooooooo hi everyone not been around much the past couple of days only to complete my food/exercise diaries.
    Glad to see your keeping motivated and loosing weight, well done everyone who lost this week.
    Not long to go now until the end of June, if you dont reach your goal dont be disheartened, I wont be.
    I am off on holiday from 30th June, back on the 15th July and wont then have had a weigh in for just over 3 weeks, now thats scarey hehe. I will try eat good and get in a little exercise, the hotel have free bikes, yipeeeeeeeeeee and a gym, it'lll be great doing that in the Cuban sun :smile: plenty of swimming and I wil be happy to maintain:laugh:

    Hello , just checking in to see how everyone is doing. I hope great. For me, my children and I took my husband to a buffett for father's day and we had too much to eat. Going to a buffett has always been my weakness because it is hard to resist those foods. I couldnt keep count of what I ate but I drank lots of water, no juice and no soda. Monday is my weigh in day and I have been exercising and eating well this past week. Any way we will see how it goes Hope you guys did better than I did and good evening

    Hello , just checking in to see how everyone is doing. I hope great. For me, my children and I took my husband to a buffett for father's day and we had too much to eat. Going to a buffett has always been my weakness because it is hard to resist those foods. I couldnt keep count of what I ate but I drank lots of water, no juice and no soda. Monday is my weigh in day and I have been exercising and eating well this past week. Any way we will see how it goes Hope you guys did better than I did and good evening

    Me too! We took my hubby to a wonderful breakfast buffet which can be so dangerous!!! I managed to stick to an all veggie omelet, one and a half links of sausage, and just under half a belgian waffle with fruit. It was still over 800 cals, but it could have been way worse! Then we swam all afternoon, so I hopefully burned it all off. The estimator on here said 1127 cals which I don't even think could possibly be right. It was not a very good weekend with eating, but weigh in is not till Friday for me so I have some time to do damage control.
