    When in the history of the world has it been well-received to come into an established community and right off the bat say "I think that the way this community (that I'm not really familiar with and don't understand) functions is all wrong"?

    Using the term "community" kinda loosely. MFP is part of the internet "community", but I'm pretty sure the OP has been on the internet before. Let's not get elitist about our food and fitness website, now. Breathtaking.

    I don't care so much when people are whatever. In real life I tend to be a lot more confrontational and it shocks people mostly it shocks the jerks cuz they are so used to people not saying anything about their behavior. On the internet I tend to just ignore them though, cuz I ain't got all day to respond to every single jerk that owns a keyboard. But, if someone is downright abusive, yep I will report them if they are talking to someone else. If they are talking to me they are gonna get it.
