    To be honest, I consider Facebook a much bigger influence on people than a site like this. Much higher chance of "actual" contact happening, as well as all the "dating" sites out there. I consider this site a good reference, and some much needed "comic relief" in my life.

    Ok...I'm out. Gotta run, me and the wife going away for the weekend for my 40th birthday! I'll try to make sure I don't accidently fall into an "on the road" affair if I decide to log into MFP....

    Nope, not talking about banter. Talking about the half dozen examples in my time here I know about in which they PM'd all night, propositioned one another, spouses didn't know they were on here, lead to phone calls, KIK, sexting, etc....

    WOW - infidelity is running rampant on MFP. Six (yes, 6) cases of infidelity in almost a year, with 100's of 1000's of active MFP members. Someone outta shut this cesspool of immorality down!

    I've thought the same thing. I won't participate in those threads. If I open something that seems innocent, that I feel was more than it should be, I close it without responding. I leave my MFP open on my phone all the time. I won't put anything on here that I wouldn't want my hubby to see, because it's disrespectful to him and to our relationship. I may be getting my sexy back, but all the attention with it goes to him, not strangers on the internet.

    Not sure where you're seeing anger. I see judgement by you, sarcastic and funny comments and joke flirting, and some people pointing out that there's no reason to be bothered by someone else's relationship.

    You know the answer to that already, right? That there will be a good number of people here who will chime in and agree with you, and a metric * * * * ton of people who will disagree and have a field day with this topic? So if it's a rhetorical question, what's your point? You think you're outing people with this thread?

    Whether you're here for the pat on the back or the battle royale (or both), congrats on a popular thread.

    I enjoy both full disclosure and trust with my husband, and he's the only one I would answer to regarding this topic. Other people's relationships are not my responsibility or my problem. You may wish to adopt the same attitude. Trust me, you'll be a happier person for it.
