You ask for an "iced tea" and what you get back is sweeter than a coke with 4 splenda....

It's mother effing HOT half the year. Umm...and the gays can't get married. Some might say that's great, but to me (not gay, btw) that's unfortunate, especially since Austin is considered the San Francisco of the south.

    Otherwise, I love my city!

Air quality - otherwise it would be almost ideal for anyone who likes the mountains, beaches, and likes to travel to the big cities easily without living in them. It is a particularly good area for cycling with lots of country roads going into the mountains with little traffic but the air quality kills the view and the lungs.

We moved into a condo that is in the hilliest neighborhood I've ever lived in. Does not bode well for running :-). It's a good 1.5 miles before I can actually fall into a decent clip. Oh ya, we also live next door to the coolest beer and wine bar in town that serves the most amazing foodthings. I feel like I gain 10 pounds just smelling the awesome that wafts over from there.

Traffic mainly. I live close to the beach and we have great weather. ;) Oh edit to say that we get a ton of tourists packing up the beach and heading to disneyland or some other amusement park. These tourists don't know how to drive either.
