Run 3X/week, bike 3X/week, and hopefully lose 3 - 4lbs this month.
I've given myself until August 12th (I have my first 5km race on September 23rd, so I figure I need a good 6 weeks to transition from the treadmill).0 -
My goal for August is to take over the world.0

My goals for August are to keep committed to logging food, walk for at least an hour a day, and hopefully lose 5 pounds (or more!).
I'm also looking for friends on MFP to help each other stay committed to goals, so add me if you would like --0 -
Lose at least five pounds, but I also have a goal to work out three days a week, so hopefully I lose more.0

got alot of goals in mind as going away in september. Want to get down to 100kg from 105kg. Train at least 5 times a week and improve my running and rowing times aswell good luck to everyone else with their challenges!0

I'd like to be under the 300lb mark by the end of the month. Started June at 354 and this week I've fluctuated from 310-322.
Final weigh in for the month is 319lbs. Getting under 300 would be a big milestone. That would put me at over 50lbs lost.0 -
My August goal is to "tune-up" my Tai Chi.
I've been doing it for years, and I'm certified to teach. I'm meeting with another student this month, who trained with the same master as I did. We will review our routine and reinforce good form.0 -
Lose 5 pounds, I lost 5 in July so here's to hoping for more of the same. Also to keep saving up money for a car to I may be able to buy one in Late September/Early October maybe.0

My goal is to get started and be consistent. I have to stay present and have patience. I didn't gain the weight overnight and I most certainly will not lose it overnight.

1. I really want to be disciplined with my eating, which means I have to be more organised. Always leaving things until the last minute means I eat on the run a lot.
2. Determined to use the gym 3 x per week, with a bonus 2 x 4 days in a row when my husband is home, plus daily cardio regardless of what's going on.
3. I am doing a 5km fun run to raise funds for my 2 year old daughter's Palliative Care support group on the 26th of August, and starting Michelle Bridges 12BT on the 27th, and want to be in good habits for that. Anyone that wants to can check out our story and maybe help raise funds - the link is http://www.everydayhero.com.au/wilmarie_craig. Absolutely no need to donate - it is just nice to know about each other, and if our story can help encourage others in the same situation and get awareness out there, then that is fantastic. If you are local to the Sunshine Coast, Australia, and reading this, then maybe you should make the run part of your August goal and come and join me!!
4. Also, I have struggled to get back into the 60kg bracket since March, and would love to drop below 70kg this month. It has been such a barrier (mentally, I think, as well as physically), that it would be great to have that behind me.0 -
Drop a pant size and lose some more inches especially around my hips and thighs!0
-
1. Go from 20 to at least 30 proper push-ups per set.
2. Eat breakfast everyday. Or drink it.
3. Eat more veggies. I am terrible about this and this is my "start incorporating veggies in every meal" month.0 -

I aim to increase my vertical jump by atleast 5cm (standing jump) in 3 weeks. As well as that, adding more power (to my legs/core/arms) to control my hits (as I play volleyball)
With the added height to my vertical and the strength gained in my legs, core and arms, here's hoping for a good result0 -
