Vacation week and I know I am drinking lots of water at the beach but I completely lost count.
I will be ready for next months challenge when I get back!0 -

I am very thankful for this group! I know I've upped my water consumption since I joined you. Knowing I'm going to have to write it here has kept me motivated to drink more!
My daughter's move went well ... we got all of the big pieces ... but we are now getting the small stuff, and cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. I'm too busy to remember how much I've drank for the day. Pre-measuring the amount I'm going to drink for a day is a fairly new system for me, but it is one that is working!
So, between pre-measuring and having to write it here means I'm doing well!
Thank you, Lamlam!0 -
Here are my tips!
I carry 2 of the .75-liter Camelbak water bottles everywhere, and I refill them constantly throughout the day. Because of the mouthpiece, I can even be working at my computer and still sucking water down. It's almost like mindless eating, but with water!
I am a BIG fan of Mio. It's a liquid water flavoring that comes in little squirt bottles and has 0 calories. I put a couple squirts in each bottle, and it's almost like Kool-aid. They have strawberry watermelon, pomegranate, green apple, etc.
I've been drinking so much water, my stomach gets full from meals much quicker.0 -

Thanks for the tips! I would never have thought of using a Camelbak when not exercising. I should also try the Mio, especially since it has 0 cals.0 -

It is not fair for me to join in as I have no problem drinking water. I live in a very very hot country ( currently we have highs of 45 deg C ++ and evening lows of around 35 deg C) so you need to stay hydrated. If I exercse (swim) I drink a liter duringthat time alone. I would just like to mention herbal teas taken with no sugar or honey are also mainly 0 calories. I make my own ice tea with "rooibos" ( red bush) tea. You can leave it in the water ( I use 4 bags to 2 lts of water) for as long as you like, it does not go bitter. Once it is strong and cooled I store it as is in the fridge. serve 3/4 tea with 1/4 or less of fruit juice. For me that is enough to sweeten it. You just calculate the 100ml (or less) of fruit juice you used the rest is 0. another thing do not sip water. You need to hydrate your organs. Desert survival 101 teaches take a good drink of water each time you need it. I drink 250 ml to 500 ml in one go. I have my water in a bottle , take a breath and drink! Good luck to everyone, water is the most important thing our bodies need, in my opinion.0
