Usually just pepper, but yesterday I chopped up some Habanero Stuffed Green Olives into my Cottage Cheese. Pretty good.

I make a cottage cheese quiche, blend it with ranch mix for a dip, top baked potatoes with it, add it just about anywhere I would use cheese or sourcream. Love it!

I like a dash of Black Pepper on about 1/2 to 1 cup of cottage cheese. Occasionally I like peaches on my cottage cheese.

My absolute favorite thing to mix with cottage cheese is avocado. YUMMY!!!! That is actually one of my favorite meals.

I've always used a spoon, it tends to fall off a fork and too messy for my fingers! (PDJ now ducks for cover)

I love it plain on zwieback or any kind of wholegrain crackers, often with a little fruit besides it.

My kids love it sprinkled with pumpkin pie seasoning!

I use it as a salad dressing, sometimes.

    or with sunflower seeds added

    Is there anything besides fruit?

on toast, with chopped green onion, with chopped tomatoes, green peas, plain, on a baked potato, pineapple, wow so many ideas and so little time.

Also lots of other links regarding this topic with some super ideas others in the past have shared. Do a search if you don't find what you are looking for in this thread.:flowerforyou:

My mom used to make a dinner of...corn on the cob...cucumber slices...cottage cheese and two links of brekkie sausage...oh and a slice or two of tomato! It was yummy!
Also, as a snack...banana or peaches!!

    Ugh...that made me hungry!!!! LOL

Usually just with salt and pepper. Sometimes with pineapple or peas. My father-in-law supposedly likes it with bow-tie pasta.

    Plain.

Land O Lakes - 2% Cottage Cheese with sea salt 1/3 less sodium is absolutely amazing by itself.

I also put in in lasagna instead of ricotta cheese
  • I top a fresh garden tomato, cut into wedges, with low-fat cottage cheese and basil chiffonade, add salt & pepper to taste.

Besides with fruit, I like to eat it plain or with tomatoes. I also use it as a substitute for ricotta cheese (well, actually, I have a lasagna recipe which originally called for cottage cheese that I've subbed ricotta for).
