August Daily Step Challenge

Challenge is to do 10,000 steps in a day. You can do this for any one day or try for the entire month. Jump right in at any time! You can set a lower or higher goal if you wish. Our main goal is to keep activate every day!

I'm in. I have been skimping on my steps lately. I want an average of 12000 steps a day for a total of 372000 steps for August.0

June totals: 528,747 steps; 401,817 aerobic steps (3339 minutes); 241.81 miles
July totals: 546,725 steps; 404,366 aerobic steps (3206 minutes); 250.12 miles
August goals:
Daily: A minimum of 13K steps and 11K aerobic steps every single day.
Monthly: 575,000 steps; 420,000 aerobic steps (3100 minutes); 260 miles.
Marathon training: Complete an 18-mile walk and a 20-mile walk.
"C25K" interval training (4+ mph walking instead of running): Increase max pace to 160 steps/min; complete by 08/10
"21K" interval training (4+mph walking instead of running): Complete through week 3
Tentatively moving up the timetable for my first marathon. Original plan: Long Beach Half in October, Huntington Beach Full in February. If I hit my training goals for the month, I'm confident I'll be ready for the Long Beach FULL marathon on October 7th.0 -
