I'm glad I saw this. I have just started riding and like it so much more than the treadmill! I don't have the skills or stamina yet that many posters to but I'm in for 100 miles. I really think I can do a lot more but I'll make this for my start.

Just a quick note for all of the newer cycling challengers. You are not competing against a set goal or against anyone. This is about setting your own goals. It might be your first bike ride in several years. It might be on a stationary bike. It does not matter. What counts is the motivation to get yourself active and moving. Logging cycling miles is secondary for me. My primary goal is to burn fat and lose weight.
I hope everyone in this challenge meets or exceeds their goal.0 -
I'm in. My goal is 400 miles this month. Rode 42.58 today at an average of 16.8mph and that puts me at 75 total so far. Pretty happy about the average speed on today's ride. It was an out and back route with a 15mph headwind on the way back.0
