It depends on what the tattoo is all about. Now, are we talking a gorgeous phoenix that swirls around a guys shoulders or are we talking Popeye the sailor man?
  • For me, it depend on what/where, but for the most part, I love them!

I think we are talking some sort of attractive tattoo, not Popeye the sailor

I guess its all personal pref. I like the bad boy/bad girl look (im totally straight) but I can say that both sexes are attractive. I think tats say you sort of live on the edge and show you arent afraid to take a chance ;)

I agree that it depends on the tattoo and the placement. And to be honest some people can just pull off things that other part can't. I wouldn't be able to rock a sleeve or anything but some women sure do!

I like tattoos but it all depends on placement.

Tattos on women should be discrete like upper thigh or sholder blade, somewhere where not your average person would see it. I think it is sexier that way. For Example Keyshia coles is a beautiful woman, but she has this huge tattoo on her arm that is just an eye sore, it over poweres her true beauty.

Tattoos on men can be any where except their arms @ the shirtsleeve cutt off and that's it. Unless you are Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) then he can have it any where he wants.

You know what i change my mind, Men can have it any where they want as long as they look sexy enough to rock it.

YES its a double standard...Oh well so sad.

P.S. I have a few tattoos in discrete places :)

They are sexy!! (I don't have any yet....maybe someday I'll get the nerve to get one..LOL) :-)
  • I like them in moderation. I'm not a fan of sleeves or total body art but I do like when people get them and they have a meaning. When I lose weight I plan on getting my kids feet prints walking up my side.

honestly, the more tats you get the more they lose deep profound meaning. whenever people ask me about certain tats, the more recent ones i'm like "it looks cool/i love mermaids/etc"

and guess what... they dont have to be profound.. its your body and you can do as you please :)

Sexy. They only place I don't like them on women is the Face and Chest area. Everywhere else is good. 3:)

I hear when you get one then you want more but I plan on just the feetprints.

soemtimes i just wanna say "none of your business?" it is a tattoo, not an excuse for me to tell you my life story. love the art. pictures are worth a thousand words. why does it need a narrative.

I think the actual content of the tattoo and the placement play a big role in sexy or turn off. There are some women who get them and wind up looking like a man and vice versa because they can't pull it off and that to me is a turn off. But then there are some people who can pull off everything! Like Kat Von D....i personally wouldn't want that many tattoos but I think she is pretty and she can pull it off...other women maybe no so much.

I have 3 and they all mean something to me in some way...which I think all tats should mean something to the owner no matter how big or little the meaning. But mine are discreet!

    Just my opinion.
