Have your boobs shrunk since losing weight?

I recently lost about 40 pounds and my boobs definitely got smaller... first thing to get smaller, actually. It's a bit difficult too because my fiance is a definite "boob man" and he loves curvy women. I never thought I would feel self-conscious or less attractive to a man if I LOST weight. Now that I'm trying to lose my last 20 ish pounds I'm back in the head space that he'll be less attracted to me once I meet my goal. It's a difficult thought to be fighting during an already challenging phase in my life. Sorry if your boobs are getting smaller, but it's a small price to pay for a healthier, happier you!
My husband is a boob man too. ::Looks down:: Yeah, love and confidence (and an in-shape body) go a LONG way.
LOL thank god my new friend is an *kitten* men......and I can say that I have a great *kitten*0 -
Well mine have gone down from a 44DD to a 36DD but so did my waist and hips so they don't appear any smaller other then shirts fit better.0
-
Lost two inches around, but my actual bra size stayed the same. Shirts fit better now....0
-
It is not much...because I am built odd. I have a large rib-cage so my chest isn't exactly right. But yes, I am having issues with my A-cups staying in place!0

I've got a double whammy because I'm going through peri-menopause. Didn't lose anything in my chest for the first 23lbs or so of weight, but then it started. Now at 26lbs lost and have gone from a 40DD to a 26C.0

mine have shrunk but it's great because I no longer have a sore back.0

I was wondering if anyone's boobs have shrunk since losing weight?
What bra size were you to begin with, how muchweight have you lost and what bra size are you now?
I'm currently a 34DD and I'm paranoid I'm gonna be flat chested once I lose weight lol! xx
Yes they did.
I was a 36 B before Pregnancy & Breast feeding. After Nursery & Weight loss I was 34 A.
Then I had a breast augmentation due to nursery, weight loss and loss of lift & shape. I'm currently a 36DD and I'm happy with them0 -
I went from a 36C to a 34B
But the worst part is that they're not as firm and perky as they used to be.
They make me want to have a breast lift :X0 -
38C down to 34A considering surgery when I'm at my goal weight and happy0
-
Mine went from a UK G to a UK DD and went flat. I had them lifted for my own sanity and health as they made by bra's pull on my shoulders - best decision I ever made0
-
I've gone from a 36DDD to about a 34DD but the change is definitely noticeable.0

Nope. Not one cup size. I have lost a few band sizes but with 112+ gone I would hope I would at least lose that. I would give anything to drop about 4 cup sizes but looks like I will just have to settle for a reduction after all excess weight is gone.0

According to my Dr., It depends whether your breast tissue is made of "fatty" tissue or "dense" breast tissue. Mine are "dense"....so even though I've lost a lot of weight, my breast did not shrink at all. He said they never would due to the density!
I actually had a breast reduction done (was DD and am now a nice perky C) !!! :blushing: LOL....best thing I ever did for myself!
Good luck to you!0 -
I think they have I was hoping they wouldn't, since I only have about 20lbs to lose, but no. I was a 34C, I think I may be down to a B cup now. Most of my bras still fit okay, but there's a little extra room. I've been to poor to go buy new bras, so I'm not sure. It's okay though. I feel way more body positive these days, even with smaller boobs.0

from a 42DD to a 38C0

yes and I'm glad!0

Mine definitely have! :laugh:0

NO!! And I'm ticked off..everything is tight in that area...or loose when I have to get bigger sizes.. band size...yes went from 44 dd to 36 DDD!?!??!... I know that my cup size really didnt go UP..its due to the lowering of the band size..and the BIG difference between the band and cup..but still..come on!
Contrary to the normal..it doesnt always leave from there first.. or EVER :brokenheart:0 -
Are we not being a bit hasty with this whole weight loss thing!!0
-
Sadly,yes-ive lost 12lbs & gone from a 38C to a 36B/C. I loved my boobs before, but wasnt happy with my figure,so i guess this is the price i have to pay to have a figure that im happy with0

They didn't shrink last year when I lost 25lb, so I'm hoping they won't this time either. I know a lot of my booby tissue is 'dense', rather than purely fat, so that will help. I'm a 32D currently (I measure as a 34B but no 34B bra will fit - 32D is much better and more flattering, so the fitter says go by that rather than measurements). I may have the potential to go down a band size, which of course may change the cup size too. However I can easily feel my ribs at the moment, and I don't particularly want to be able to see them, so hoping most of my fat will come off my lower half, where it *needs* to come off!0

Mine have started to shrink. I was a 36C and unhappy with it so this is actually nice. I wouldn't mind going back to an A or B.0

I've gone from a 50"+ chest to a 43" chest so my moobs have gotten much smaller for sure.0

moobs Brilliant..0 -
34DD to 34D.
Once you start doing anything bouncy as exercise you'll probably be happy when your boobs get smaller. I sure was.0 -
Unfortunately. I've gone from a 42DD to a 38 D-borderline DD. I'm probably going to end up being one of those women who are small and petite up top and huge on bottom, like the bottom half and top half are 2 different people of greatly varying sizes.0

46ddd to a 38d0

One of the worst parts of gaining weight, was my boobs getting bigger. I had always been thin and very small chested. I prayed they would go away when the pounds started dropping. I'm so happy to say, they have! I am almost as small up top as I used to be. My husband isn't as happy about it. I wish I could give him some of his own, to carry around! =D0
