Sorry I have to ask a silly question, is there anyway to make this on a stove top? I don't have an oven and it looks so good:-s I was thinking of stirfrying it but that wouldn't make it crispy, would it?

I'm been making it like this for a year or two, but you don't need to use that much olive oil. Just put all the broccoli in a big ziploc, add 1-2 tablespoons and shake, shake, shake! It coats it enough. Also I add a little crushed red pepper, gives it a ZING!
Broccoli used to be on the TOP of my "HATE" list but now it is one of my favorites!! Little did I know I just didn't like steamed broccoli! Think of all those years I wasted without broccoli in my life! :laugh:0 -

Mmmm...when I saw the title of the post I KNEW it was going to be roasted broccoli! I usually just toss it in olive oil w/ salt, pepper and garlic, but the pine nuts, etc. sound good!0

I recently started grilling broccoli and had a family over for dinner one night. I hear the 10 year old ask the 12 year old," did you try the broccoli, good isnt it"
Grilled broccoli is amazing!0 -
same basic thing we do to both asparagus and brussels sprouts. I imagine it's YUMMY! no pine nuts for us either tho, but parm sometimes on the sprouts.0

They are much better roasted than boiled/steamed in my opinion. Give it a try before you throw them out.0 -
I *love* roasted broccoli but I've never thought to add cheese to it before - will definitely be trying this, thanks!
I usually have my roasted broccoli with a grilled chicken breast and a bit of Jack Daniels marinade...mmm!0 -
