I am currently 191 but was 220 3 months ago please feel free to add me as I am "starting over" with new mfp friends for the rest of my weight loss. My old mfp friends were either not losing at all or losing WAY WAY fast & quicker than me. I am sticking to mostly just cutting back on food & only light cardio every now & again.... so I wasn't finding support in friends that ran 2 miles + a day

I've just joined MFP and would love to be included. Please feel free to add me. I started at 249 lbs and my goal weigh is 135 lbs. I'm working on a lifestyle change through healthier eating choices and exercise. I want to lose weight as well as tone.

I am also 5'4" and weigh 205. I am at my heaviest , other then when I was pregnant. Mild depression and a sedentary job, plus an out of work husband. Letting it all take hold instead of taking care of myself.

I am new here as well. I weigh 211 and would like to lose at least 60 lbs. I'm 5'4" and weigh more than I did when I was pregnant.
Anyone who would like to add me as a friend, please do. I need and would like to give as much support as I can.

my sister has been going on about this topic for a while and i was like huh? (shes the author sareyzz23) im currently 176cm tall 358lbs and as u can imagine i need to lose a LOT of it lol! i was well over 400lbs (unsure because i couldnt get on any scales without an error message) almost 3 years ago but the every other day diet started to lose its effect so she told me about this app a few months ago and i had to try anything! ive done weight watchers, slimming world x 2, the weetabix diet x 2. i do have some health issues to battle (polycistic ovary syndrome or PCOS for short) which makes it that little bit harder for me to shed those pounds and have more kids. i need to exercise more this is something i already know i have to work on but with working 50-60 hours a week at work from home, a fiance and a teenage daughter to contend with its finding time to do anything. i do go swimming with my sister a couple of nights a week but could really use the extra motivation. on that note im going to do 30 minutes on the exercise bike.

Has a group been started yet? Or are we just gonna post in this thread? If there is a group, I'd love to join.

I am also 5'4"...239lbs. My goal is 129 (which is a great weight for my frame..etc)

I have been on MFP since January...only lost 5 lbs, then gained it back, plus 1!! Got tired of trying to figure it out on my own (obviously wasn't working!) and now I am working with a personal trainer 2 days a week. She has me doing a lot of body weight stuff, kind of like Cross Fit and Insanity. I am now back down the 5 original pounds...hoping to start seeing some progress!!

BTW: I work 2 jobs that are very demanding (cabinetry/carpentry...house remodeling). I have a daughter that's a senior in high school..so there are a lot of time consuming things happening with that. I also am a Worship leader at my church...so that takes up quite a bit of my time (especially during the holidays). I then have all sorts of things to do at home (cooking..cleaning..laundry..etc) I MAKE TIME to exercise!

I would love to have some other people to help motivate me! I'm 5'5" and currently at 261. I started 2012 at 360 and have been working very hard to lose weight this year. I go to the gym 6-7 days a week and try to watch what I eat though I have good days and bad.

I have been looking for one of these. I am 211 lbs and 5'2. My goal is to be 135 lbs. I've just started and only lost 1 lb so far. I know it's harder when you get heavier though because my thyroid started acting up and I have thyroid medication now. I'm only 20 and I feel like I should be at my prime but instead my health has held me back and I'm determined to feel and look my best.

5'3" and 227. Teetering between cardio and weight training. Know training is in my best interest but working on training for a 5k in mid October. Thinking I'm going to stick with cardio til o toner and see how things go. Feel free to add..Onederland feels soo far away. Been on mfp for about 5 months and seem to have lost the same 8 pounds twice . Kinda annoying considering I'm on a plan. I've upp

I was 212.74lbs (96.7kg) last year and after 14 months of MFP logging, I am now down to 148.5lbs (67.5kgs) and still going.

You are more than welcome to add me if you like, but if you do, please share your diary. There is no sense in being on MFP and wanting the support of others, if you aren't really ready to let them help you.

I have met some amazing people on here and we're all likeminded - nobody judges you.

    Congratulations for taking this step!!
