I just wrote a blog about this yesterday. It was based off of a message board I saw about feeding yourself spiritually, as well as physically. For me, I believe God has to be part of the journey. I heard someone else say that whenever you feel hungry, go to God... and read His word. It will put your mind where it should be.0

This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.

If you have a particular faith or religion, that is good. But you can survive without it.

great thread thanks.
Never give up what you want most for what you want in the moment and choose what is right over what is easy always.

Can you please take this over to your own group.
Not all of us find imaginary friends so appealing and can do things of our own volition.
You came here, looking for us, not the other way around.
yes, but my thread about disliking Nickleback gets deleted because its not a thread everyone can take part in....how is this different?
I can't believe you are comparing nickleback to our Faith in Jesus Christ....
I'm pretty sure Nickleback was a gift from god.

Have you heard of the Made to Crave book. I have not read it but I think it would be a good one to help. It is written by Lysa Terkeurst.
If you go to http://madetocrave.org/freebies/ you can actually preview the book and read the introduction. You can also sign up for a few days of Made To Crave devotional on the homepage of that website. Just thought I'd share that info.0
