  • I'm in, this is the best form of exercise for me so I will log in everyday with the amount I have walked. Is someone going to start a daily thread so we can all post our daily achievements?

    had to take a few days off due to going back to work. my whole body was sooooo tired.

    Walked 40 minutes on Thursday evening and 110 minutes yesterday.

    I'm in. Walking is such a fun, painless way for me to fit some exercise into my schedule, when I can't make it to the gym.

    Would leslie sansone dvds count for this?

    The only time I get for exercise is very late night and I don't feel safe going out that late for a walk, so I could do this in the front room?

    I would say yes, I sometime use hers if it is too bleak outside. It is monsoon season where I live right now...I hate treadmills too!

    Sorry guys, I usually am all up for this, but I had an awful sickness get me down for a week. I have been able to get into the pool for the past two days, but today my hope is to get a few miles of walking in.

    Hi All,

    Walked for 90 minutes today. That brings my Sept total to 505 minutes - against my monthly goal of 1800. I'm presently averaging just over 63 minutes per day.

    Today started out raining like crazy but cleared up mid-afternoon, making the walking conditions just great. Such a nice day.

    9/7 - walked leisurely for 180 minutes this morning at flea market. Also went roller skating tonight for 2 hours, with the kids :)

    8 days behind, but I want in... Goal: 1 hour a day. Alone with the other workouts I do.
  • I'm in.. Hiked a 2.2 mile hike in 40 minutes today.. Just got back on MFP today so this is just what I need to get started back up again.. :)

    Walking has become such a pleasure for me and a big part of my weight loss.

    I walked for three hours on 2nd September.

    I plan to walk 3 times a week for at least an hour during September (and visit the gym too). I like to try to get a long walk in at weekends.

    This week I have walked for one hour on Wednesday, two hours on Friday and over 3 today so I have more than hit my target. Feeling great!

    Nice! At that rate, in a little over six weeks, you'll be walking 27 hours a day! ;)
