So what are you doing to lose your weight? days of workout? type of calories? weekend actvitiy?
I'm a little taller at 5' 10.5"..
Goal weight: 138,
I was 238lbs (wowza) the day I gave birth (3 1/2 months ago)
..and am now 188 lbs, dropping daily.
My lowest adult weight was around 135... and I can't wait to get back into my wardrobe!!!!0 -
So what was your process to lose? calories? type of exercise? sleep?0

I am just under 5'8 and have a pear shape. I cant get less than 145 lbs due to dead and hanging skin. I also lose all of my breast if I lose too much weight. I have had many children so I am very scarred everywhere, much too scarred to post pics. When prego I gain from about 145/155 to 200lbs, then I'm stuck at 180ish until I lose weight again. This website truely inspires me, especially when I hear of others fighting my same battle.0

I love threads like these! So nice to see a group of laides with similar stats.
I'm technicaly 5'8 3/4" (I say 5'9")
HW: 205
CW: 194
GW: 150-160ish
I've been about 150 before but thought it was too small for my body type (hourglass), but it could have been due to how quickly I lost the weight that time. (ALL of my boobs disapeared wcich is odd becuase i'm fairly well stacked usually and come from a family full of mostly womand who all have large chest-most of them have had to have 1-2 reductions)
Feel free to add me0 -
That's awesome! you look GREAT... crazy how your tummy was still flat at your heaviest!0

I'm 5'9, started at 180 and currently sit 149.. trying to get down to 140.
I don't have any pictures to post, but if you go on my profile you can see some.
Biggest tip I can give is lift weights. I look so much better(and my clothes are much smaller!) from lifting weights and eating at a calorie deficit.
So how much weight and type of excersie do you reccomend. I recently went from 5 to 8 lb hand weights, doing 2 sets of 20 reps. on machines i do about 10-20 lbs, 2 sets of 15. i dont want to get bulky jus loose and tone.0 -

Lift as heavy as you can, you will not get bulky! Women are not built like men. Depending on the exercise I do either 3 sets of 12 or 4 sets of 10. I've lost what I've lost from lifting heavy and eating at a deficit as well0 -
weight looks different on everyone, especially at different ages, muscle mass etc. You can try this website which will give you pictures of people and their reported height and weight:

Great thread! I always hate that about weight loss shows that they never mention people's height!!! 150lbs looks a hell of a lot different on someone 5' than 5'9". I joined MFP over a year ago and never really did it consistently, but trying to make this the time that sticks.I am 5'9" and I think my official starting weight was 174 though I just got serious again 2 weeks ago at about 170. CW is 167.4 and GW is 145. I've been trying to think more in terms of clothing size lately. Who is a Size 6? What weight range are you?
Please feel free to add me as a friend! Life changes are always easier with support Keep up the good work ladies!!!0 -
