5'3 or 5'4 ladies. What is your goal weight?

I'm 5'3. At this height, you look great anywhere from 118 to 135. At 118 you're stick thin. Size 2. At 135, you're thin. Size 4.
I know this from past experience -- not the present!
Everyone carries their weight differently. I think the best way to determine what weight you look good at is to gauge as you lose weight. I am 5'3" and 108lbs, and I don't think I am stick thin sine I am pear shaped and have hips.
Me, too. I'm 111, 20% body fat. Size 2. Small frame. Still a C cup.0 -
I'm 5'3, and my goal is 130. Anything less than that and my family starts to worry about me.0

I'm about 5 4 and have never been under 160 in my adult life. I'm currently at about 183. I'm aiming for 135 and really want to wear a size 8.0

I'm 5'4 and am aiming at 130 lbs. I'm hoping that'll put me in maybe a 4-6. The smallest I've been was 170 and that was nearly 4 years ago so I'm not sure what I'll look like at those lower weights.
Editted to say I'm in a comfy 16 (loose in the legs, but fits the belly ) at 220 lbs. And I used to wear a 12 when I was at 170.0 -
I'm almost 5' 5" and weight 155-157 lbs. I wear a size 6 jean.
I think it really depends on where you carry your weight that determines the height/weight/jean size question. If I quit doing CrossFit and only did cardio I bet my weight would drop but I'd be the same size. As well if i carried my weight in my hip/thigh area I bet I'd wear a larger jean.
Edited to add goal: I would like to stay under 150 consistently.0 -

Couldn't agree more- I'm 5'3 and currently 128. I topped out at 135 and I, in no way, looked my best. My goal is 116: this is where I look healthy.0 -
I'm 5' 3.5" and my CW is 116-118 and I am a SZ 0-2. My GW is 105-112. I just began MFP again after one year off and a cruise later (still weighing 116-118) proud to say I have kept it all off!!! My HW was 158.0

5'4", currently 156, jean size 14
Goal weight is 130 or so.0 -
I'm 5'3". I would like to weigh 123lbs and be in a size 6 jeans.0

I'm 5'3 and my goal is 117-120
I'm wondering if that's too low b/c mostly everyone who has commented has said 130.
Is 117-120 healthy for a seventeen year old I'm about to be eightteen on December.
Depends on your frame size to some extent and where you are comfortable. My original goal was 125, but that's because I'm 47 and was worried about wrinkles. Got there and decided to go to 118. Still liked what I saw there, so went 115. Then 112. This week I'm 111, still not particularly wrinkly, finally got in the last item of clothing from my previously skinny days. My family and my significant other think that I am fine at this weight, so not worried about being too thin, and I get compliments at work. If the whole world (including the people whose opinion you care about) is telling you that you are too thin, then talk to your doctor or a trainer to find out. Otherwise, get to 117-120 and reevaluate then.
Good luck!0 -
I'm 5'4" and, if I had a goal weight, my goal would be 135-140. My lowest weight was 127 (at age 24) just before I got married (I was starving myself to "look good" in my wedding dress) but I couldn't hold my weight there. When I look at old pictures when I weighed 127, I look unhealthy, very pale and gaunt.
I have lost 14 pounds over the last four months (no crash dieting for me) and I wear size 14 jeans---hoping to get to the size 8 jeans I used to wear. I have radically changed the way I eat and I could stay on this "diet" for the rest of my life. I lose about 1 pound of fat per week. I'm assuming that I will stop losing when I have trimmed the fat off. I was "skinny-fat" at 127. I probably lost as much muscle as fat when I used to crash diet. But the crash dieting took a toll on my mental and physical health.:ohwell:0 -
I'm 5'4" and 54 years old and currently weigh 184 lbs... and wear size 12 jeans.
My goal weight is 140 and hope for a size 6-8.
I have no desire to be a size 0-1-2-3 at my age and frame size, so I won't go much lighter than that.
When I was 20, I weighed 115 and wore a size 10.... go figure??!! LOL
:huh:0 -
I'm 5'3, was as high as 180ish. Lost most after 1st 2 kids, couldn't after 3rd til last year. Went down to 133, broke my foot, then up to 139 through the winter. Since, I'm around 134-137 depending on the day, wanted 125. Need serious toning and have lots of lose skin, w/o surgery and with added muscle I'm thinking around 130 will look best. I wear size 4 now, sometimes 6 if runs slim, I'm curvy, chest, hips & thighs, so size won't change much. To me, it's about being stronger now, not a size. If I could feel healthy and strong, then I'll feel accomplished You can do it!0

I'm 5'3. CW is 135. Lowest weight was 123. I was a 2 at 123. I am a 4 at 135. I have gained a lot of muscle but ideally would like to get back down to 125-130. My body fat is 24%.0
-
5'3 and I'm currently hovering around 131lbs. I want to get to 120lbs. I'm currently a size 8. My body-fat is 25.8%.
Everyone carries it differently. For me, it's mainly in my stomach, hips and thighs.0 -
I am 5'4.5 and my GW is 120ish. I have been down to 127 before and would like to get a little lower than that!0
-
I'm 5'3", currently 135lbs and a dress/pant size 4. My goal weight is between 115-120lbs, and a size 2-3.
Should mention I'm pear shaped, 32B up top, even when I was at my heaviest (about 154lbs) I would still fit size small tops comfortably. I carry it all in my ghetto booty! :P0 -
I'm 5'3 and my GW is 135. I was 118 and I wore size 2 and 4 ten years back but I felt I was too boney. I will decide after I hit my 135 GW.0
-
5'3" here. between 120 and 130 is my ultimate goal. i don't know what jean size that is but i'm hoping no more than 10!0
-
i would be happy to get to 140...and size 8 would be awesome...might try for 135 once i reach that goal but one day at a time0
-
I'm 5'4 and I'm hoping to be between 130 - 140...I have absolutely no idea what size pants because I've never been there before.0
-
I'm 5'3" and currently weigh 130. My dream weight is 118-120, but it has been 5 years since I weighed that amount. I am a size 6 pants and dress. 125 is a manageable weight for me, but I can jump back up to 130 quickly. I am always losing those same 5 pounds, My pants size stays a 6, but fits better at 125.0

I am 5'4" and my goal weight is 140. I went from 240 down to 148 three years ago (smallest I've been since before high school) and was in a size 10 comfortable and even some 8's. I have since gained almost 40 pounds Back on track again and this time I will be more proud of my accomplishments!!0
-
I'm 5'3, 147 pounds and wear and 8-10. I am happy with my current shape, though I'd like to lose 10 more pounds so my weight could fluctuate 5-10 over holidays (etc.) and I'd still be comfortable. I don't like how I look when I am at and over 155ish -- I have a really short torso and it is the first place I seem to gain weight.0
-
I'm 5'4", and my goal weight is 160 lbs. The last time I was 140 lbs, my doctor panicked. It was way too small for me and I was maintaining that weight by exercising everyday and eating every other day. I'm going to be realistic this time and do this the safe and healthy way.0

5 ft 3in- I would love to weight 130lbs!:flowerforyou:0
