Am I the crazy one?

Some of the more vulgar things can be a bit awkward to get in the middle of. But like you yourself said, you don't know their relationship. I personally tend to avoid making remarks like *smacks *kitten** or so on that I see often on my more fit female friends. But there are friends of mine who I have built enough relationship that I can say things to them openly and not worry about how others see it. An example is me writing this message towards a friend of mine on my wall that was seen by all of my friends. I did it to put a smile on a day that felt bad for her AND me so I got atleast 2 people to smile this way
Jules, oh my darling Jules. This poor mans words don't do justice to how I feel about you. My hands won't allow me to write what you mean to me. They fear the world would consider me mad. This heart o mine beats only in hopes that you will once say you're mine. How long must you give me the gift of pain when my love for you can melt diamonds. My dearest, to me you're perfect.
I have written such notes to others too. They all know I'm not serious. They all are non vulgar. They all put a smile on their (and my) face.0 -

Both sides are inappropriate, yet both love the attention. Some women post pics and comments to fish for comments from men and men comment because they know they wouldn't have the balls to say it in real life.0

Yes. You're the crazy one.
I think a lot of the women on here are line-crossers FAR more than some men on here. And cheers to them, they're my favorites. :drinker:0 -
After all these years, nothing would raise my eyebrows. As long as they don't dis crochet, they can say what they want.0
-
Aww. You're cute.
You should see the stuff that ^^^^^ she sends to me.
HAHAHAHA! Great one! But seriously, fishing is silly. We're here to lose weight and encourage/support each other as we make the journey.
I don't think you're crazy. I think you're spot on!

It makes me really uncomfortable on MFP, but it doesn't bother me on other sites. I think it has something to do with the "user" vibe I get from a lot of the guys who message me on here - many women trying to lose weight are struggling with self-esteem issues at the same time. A lot of the messages I've gotten have come across as predatory, like they're looking for a girl who doesn't know her own worth.0

Something about if you cant handle the heat...get in the kitchen and make me a sandwich....Hmm I think that's right.0

Ah... it was a bluff.0 -
It is not just on MFP... some men have carried this action over into real life. I have men say the craziest things in person... Hmmm really? Then they laugh it off. "Oh girl, you know I am kidding.. right?"0

Hold on guys, guess who I'm doing an impression of:
"Look at me! I go all around the internet telling people how they should act because I am always right and my opinion is the only proper way to live life! Yayayay!"
I'm pretty sure it's none of your business how people conduct themselves to not you.
*sings* Oooh baaaaby, talk dirty to meeeee0 -
Yea, it's really gross seeing these men say those things to women on here. I mean ew, haven't they heard of cooties?0

Weren't you just recently telling others how rude they're being in a different thread....? Was it your business to tell people how to conduct their business that had nothing to do with you there?0 -
did someone leave multiple soapboxes around here, or are people using the same soapbox and just taking turns?0

I have seen some rather...rough...behavior from both men and women on here, of all ages. But, thankfully, we can choose not to read certain posts or just ignore them. I do not keep people on my friends page with a foul mouth or negative things to say. I love that there are so many more positive, loving people on here, though, who are truly looking out for each other0

But I don't want to be saved....0

My take on MFP.
1. Women who were not really that good looking for the first 30 years of their life so flirting is new to them
2. Men who were gigantic and married somebody gigantic and then started intermittent fasting and now they are slender and wanna spit game to cougars.
3. People who count calories.
4. People who count calories and love being able to say **** they couldn't on Facebook.
If you're talking to somebody that you know is single and in your geographic area, take the conversation off MFP and let the creeps continue hitting them up on here.
But I shouldn't reveal my secrets publicly
And I agree - some dudes are not being suave at all - it's pretty much the ish I see on "To Catch A Predator".
Oh yeah, haters gonna hate.0 -
It's okay, it keeps me feeling justified in my misandronistic opinions of men.0

While I can see OP's general point, I wouldn't begin to consider telling other people how they should or should not behave with each other, either online or off. Now how they interact with *me*, that *is* my business, but I will deal with that more directly (if necessary).
And yeah, I'm still not convinced that OP's motives are completely pure in this. But I won't tell him he shouldn't do this either...if he finds some maidens in need of rescue, who am I to judge?0 -
