you are in for a lot of disappointment0 -
So you weighed yourself afterwards to see if you lost weight from the poop?
Don't act like you haven't done it. We all have. :ohwell:
This has got me cracking up. But so glad I'm not the only one!!:laugh:0 -
Well I havent been able to weigh myself all week yet so I've been looking forward to it
So you're basing the .5 gain on a weight from a week ago? Not that you weighed yourself immediately before the restroom visit and then again immediately after?
There's your answer right there.0 -
Next time, poop on the scale and subtract it from the first reading. It sends a strong message to the scale as well!
love this!
it reminds me of an old trick my Nan taught me.. after you kill a big spider, stick it outside the front door to show all the other spiders that you're not to be f****d with
You people are cracking me up! Thanks I really needed to laugh today:)0 -
I knew a guy in college who ate while he pooped, which to me was like seeing an alien that how crazy the concept was to me. I use to joke with him, why not skip the middle man and just flush the food.
So the question now, did you eat or drink anything in between or during? :-p1 -
this is hilarious:laugh:0

I can't believe I just read a four page thread about poop.0

I thought everyone knew that pooping makes you gain weight. I have lost all my weight by not pooping for the last 238 days.0

OK - Found this thread after trying to find SOMETHING that would explain why we weigh more (.5 to 1 lb) after we poop!
It's a regular question on Google and DuckDuckGo.
We got a high end scale after going through 5 before - all telling us we weighed more after a bm.
Still....seeing this thread started in 2012 - there seems to be no real answer....but a LOT of funny ones
So, since 2013 - has anyone found the answer to the "negative" poops?0 -

So change the batteries and remember to warm up the scale. Most electric scales say to weigh a small object between 5-20 lbs before you weigh yourself because they tend to get stuck at or near the last number they weighed. The second item weighed will be more acurate so try that.1

I think the answer will simple be: scales tend to be a bit unprecise at times, especially when standing on not fully flat ground. Thus you get weight x, go away and you might get weight x plus or minus n. Happens all the time. A poop is not particularly heavy, thus this might still happen. Oh, and don't pee on the floor where the scale is. The feet generally don't like moisture, and this can also result in odd measurements.2

I once lost 1.3 pounds. Was pretty proud of myself 😆. Tbh I never thought I would publicly brag about it though 😬3
