My husband and I first met at boot camp. We were then both at the same A-school location for schooling.

this is the story my EX-Wife has regarding her new boyfriend.

This happened 8 years ago, but still.

I only date my friends. I knew the guy I'm dating now for a good 5 years before we even considered each other as potential partners. No drama, no surprises.

Honestly? He was a client. Yes, that kind of client.

It's been a good while now, but it feels like I've been waiting for him for the past 24 years. Can't wait to see what happens next!

I was living in LA and my Edward had taken a detour on Hollywood Boulevard to ask for directions. No one was any help and then he encounters me, and I was more than willing to help him.

The morning after, Edward hires me to stay with him for a week as an escort for social events. Of course I advised him that it "will cost him," and he agrees to give me $3,000 and access to his credit cards! So after some dinners, dresses, a polo match, getting in a tiff with his bald lawyer, I KNEW I was in love. But we had a fight and I ran back home.

I remember him leaping from the white limousine, and then climbing the outside ladder and steps. Then we made out on the fire escape.

I wonder how those beeetches that work in the stores on Rodeo Dr treated you whilst shopping with said credit cards.

They were horrible!! Luckily the hotel manager hooked me up.... I was lookin' fly after that!

you know, if I were in this situation (out of my depths class-wise) I think I'd have the most trouble with the eating utensils

But I showed him... granted the business dinner didn't go great, we did have sex on the piano in the hotel.

Match.com. We've been together 5 years, lived together 4.5 years, engaged 1 year, and getting married in 2014. We should so be one of those couples on the commercials. :-)

“When I was a little girl, my mama used to lock me in the attic when I was bad, which was pretty often. And I would- I would pretend I was a princess… trapped in a tower by a wicked queen. And then suddenly this knight… on a white horse with these colors flying would come charging up and draw his sword. And I would wave. And he would climb up the tower and rescue me. But never in all the time… that I had this dream did the knight say to me, “Come on, baby, I’ll put you up in a great condo.”

My fiance found me on OKCupid. I'm so thankful she did. Honestly, she's no great beauty so I might never have clicked on her profile, but as soon as we met she became the most beautiful girl in the world.

I saw a picture on his little brothers xanga when I was 12ish. I told my friend I was going to marry him and have his babies. I hadn't met him yet. About a year and a half later I met him in the back of a mutual friends car. (I hung out with older people) Oh god he was so cute. Hahaha. He liked me but I was young and he was dating this crazy *****. Two years later I went to a party at his apt and he was an *kitten* to my friend so I was very rude to him... which he liked. We were best friends for about a year before we started dating. Been together 5 years with two little ladies. :)

I'm one of the rare ones who started a long term relationship in a bar/club. I was out for a night of dancing with my girls, he was out looking for chicks with his buddy. He started dancing with me, and within a couple hours we were making out and exchanged numbers. He wanted me to go home with him but that just wasn't my style. Never expected to hear from him but he called at 9am the next day wanting to meet up for brunch!! We pretty much spent all our time together for the next few months so we decided to cohabitate...married 11 years later and will be celebrating 15 years of being together next month!

okcupid.com! I had to sift through a couple creepers and awkward dates before I found him, but it was worth the wait. We talked online for 3 months before we met... then dated casually for another few months before it started getting serious. It's been official for 6 months now :)

It's not the most romantic story but I don't mind

  • At work through a mutual friend. We didn't work on the same floor or anything but it was convenient to get to know each other at lunch breaks. :o) He found out I was interested when I brought him a coffee with a smile.

We met on my first day of college (he was a bit older) in French class. We both noticed each other, but he had a girlfriend at the time and I was going through a rough time emotionally. But the next year, we had a lot of classes together and he was single. We ended up becoming friends until the end of the school year and started dating. By this time, I was just completely in love with him, but he wasn't ready for a committed relationship. After he graduated we broke up and I didn't hear from him again for a year.

Fast forward to a year later, he wrote me a letter and we started getting back in touch. And slowly we started our relationship all over again, but we've been together ever since.

We met on an online forum with no aspirations to date anyone; we were both seeing other people. When we both broke up with our respective SOs, we started talking a little more and it just grew naturally. It's been 10 years now. :)

(holy crap. It's been 10 years! :noway: Time flies when you're having fun! )
