    Because I was under the impression that everyone in the fitness world was a raging tard, and I wanted nothing to do with it for the first 27 years of my life. Now I've seen that only about half are retarded, and that's a good enough ratio for me.

    That and I liked video games way more than I liked weights...or not looking like Jabba the Hutt's stunt double. At least I never liked food much anyway, or I'd be in much worse shape than I am now.

    I'm fat because I'm too short for my weight. No really, I eat compulsively and impulsively.

    Thanks for the heads up. Fortunately for me, I don't give a rat's *kitten* what anyone thinks about my choice of words. :)

    I am addicted to Pepsi! Every single day, I would have several liters of it.
    I would always procrastinate when it came to working out.
    I had a job where I literally sat for up to 13 hours a day.
    My portions were way too big.
    I am a night person, and tend to have fairly large meals right before going to sleep.

    I think I had every single habit that contribute to making people fat. Those days are behind my now!

    Depression, comfort/boredom eating, lack of nutritional education, and large portion sizes. I was never a lazy teen and exercised a lot but just never got the balance of eating the right amount for my size.

    I like food too much.
    I have an addictive personality.
    Still haven't lost baby weight.
    I have hypothyroidism, which has contributed to being too tired to work out.
    I get discouraged easily when weight doesn't seem to come off and give up on exercising.

    I honestly believed that i looked ok until I saw photos. I'd avoid being infront of the camera!

    I also made excuses and jokes when it came to any form of exercise. Now i like being fit

    1) Not knowing or having any desire to learn how to cook from most of my 20s and therefore eating out A LOT.
    2) Having no concept of portion control.
    3) BEER
    4) CHINESE BUFFET (usually in association with #2)

    I love to eat, I am an emotional eater and once I start I cannot stop! I am a secret binge eater and am working to change that. I love MFP and the support everyone here provides.
