    2 miles walked yesterday and 3 miles walked today - makes 58.5 this month so far.

    I jogged 6 on Sunday....only 44 to go!


    9/9: 6 miles
    9/11: 3 miles

    Total so far: 15 miles....only 35 to go!


    9/13: 1 mile
    9/15: 5 miles
    9/16: 8 miles

    New total: 29 miles...21 to go!


    9/21: 3 miles

    New total: 32 miles...18 to go!


    9/22: 6 miles
    9/23: 10 miles

    New total: 48 miles.. 2 to go!

    9/29: 3 miles

    New total: 51 miles!!! And, I'm doing a half marathon in the morning :)

    I'm at 47.3 for the month. I haven't decided if I'm going to run today or not. Yesterday's run was a new (and challenging) route so my legs are sore. Either way, 47.3 miles for the month is a personal best so I'm pretty pleased.

    The power of a group and a challenge like this is the accountability. After I posted the above post I realized I had just posted a lame excuse to not go run. My legs were sore?!?! REALLY?!?!??!?!?! They were sore because I had used them, not because I was injured.

    I figured I had less than 3 miles to run today so I should just get off my butt and go do it. My total for September is 50.48 miles, 8 miles over my former personal best for a month. Thanks for this challenge!

    I'm in too...I use a pedometer every day and strive for 10,000 steps which I sometimes don't get. Found a formula to convert steps into calories burned which is helpful when tracking my cardio exercise stats so I will use part of that formula to calculate miles for this challenge. For those interested, there are 5,280 steps in a mile...so that means if I do 8,800 steps per day for 30 days I'll successfully complete the challenge. Who is with me???

    I'm with you. I do the same thing. But I started in October. Went shopping with my niece & sis the other day & did 11,564. I was exhausted afterward but it was good start. :smile:
