I added 3.32 miles today. I also met my goal of running three miles at a pace of 10:00/mile! Now I need just a bit more speed to reach a sub-30 minute 5K. I know that I can meet or beat my goals in the three and half weeks remaining before my first race. :happy:
I'm glad to finally make some contacts on MFP and I'd like to connect with more of you who are active in the MY@ Challenge. This group has really helped me take my fitness to the next level. Thanks to all of you!

It was the Columbus Half Marathon. A benefit for Nationwide Children's Hospital. It is a huge race here - 5,000 Marathoners +11,000 doing the half. It was amazing!!! Entertainment & supporters of all flavors lined the whole way. I encourage anyone who has a chance at an event like this to go for it. What a blast!:bigsmile:

Didn't get away from work in enough time for strength training at the gym, so spent 30 mins on the elliptical at home instead to add another 6.28 miles to my tally
