Thank you NocturnalGirl for posting this. :flowerforyou:
I'm sure each and every one of us on here can relate to this, at some point in our lives. I hope that everyone remembers to think about what's good (inside and outside) every once in a while.0 -
That was mind provoking..., thank you for sharing.
I've never had an ED but reading what someone who has goes through is scary.
So glad you are doing better, keep up the good work x

Wow thank you all so much! The fact that you guys told me I'm a great writer made my day, I've always wanted to become a writer! I didn't expect all those who don't have EDs to actually feel or understand it through my writing. Means a lot :flowerforyou:0

You are an excellent writer! Keep it up0

Great post. I even got out the paper and wrote all the amazing things I have in my life.
Thank you for actually doing it Now whenever you are feeling down, look back at that piece of paper. Sometimes in our worst moments, we fail to see the wonderful things in our lives.
And sorry everyone for the length of the post, once I start writing, I can continue forever haha0 -
Naudia, thank you so much for sharing that with me. I think of you often and hoped you wee doing fine and I'm gla to hear you are. You're a beautiful writer and the part whee you say something like " even when you're drowning in your pool of thoughts learn to swim" really touches me. I do not have an ED but I definetly feel like I'm slowly drowning. I want to learn to swim, I couldn't have expressed it better myself. I'm going to get my life back together RIGHT NOW and ill send you the list of things I'm thankful for soon. Must study first.
I'm proud of you darling.
Much love,

You have a lot to be proud of.0 -
I am so incredibly proud of you for allowing yourself to see how beautiful you are. Regardless of how confident people may seem, it is important to to remember that almost everyone struggles with accepting themselves as they are. As you mentioned, it is entirely a matter of perspective. Thank you for sharing this; you shed some much needed light on a subject people have a tendency to avoid. Your openness, honesty and courage are an inspiration. Youare truly bbeautiful inside and out, and you owe it to yourself to remember that fact often<30

Your writing skills are amazing! I could picture the entire scene before my eyes as I read your story. I've never had an eating disorder but I think this relates to each of us on our own individual levels.

Wonderful story... Full of wise morals and meanings.
Keep it up, Sweets!
Love you!0 -
This really deserves to be bumped again - I think it's a great insight into an ED for those who don't understand, and a very supportive help to those who do. It took an awful lot of guts to open up like this and I for one am really glad she did.0

Thank you
Was this me? I didn't expect that question to come up haha. Well that's a tough one. As I mentioned, the story was metaphorical, not literal. I wasn't trying to make it come from the writer's perspective, hence the third person narration. However, all the feelings involved and the meanings behind each symbolism came from within. So to answer your question, I guess you can say it was me indirectly, but I like to think otherwise.
And thank you all so much, your comments mean a lot to me :flowerforyou:0 -
i kinda thought so. always love yourself and be proud of who you are, cuz there is no one else like you.
everyone is special and that includes you. be happy Girl! :flowerforyou:0 -

Well it's been a lifelong dream to become a writer and I actually am thinking about starting up my own fan fiction or writing my own books. But that probably won't happen, I don't know if I'm good enough for that haha.
Thank you!0
