I've thought about this more than once.... I am a former chef :)

I would open a deli/ lunch counter, serving sandwiches, soups, quiches, pastries and bread.

But I'd only do it if I didn't actually need it to make money :) then I would love it!

Bakery/cafe. Cookies, cakes, pastries, pies, etc and daily meal specials plus meals to go (frozen or refrigerated)

Bourbon, fried chicken (of the world, including American, Senegalese, Korean, etc), waffles. duh.

Great idea loops! I would eat here twice a week. Compact menu of great food!

If I opened a restaurant it would be similar to True Foods Market owned by Dr. Andrew Weill in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley Arizona. Absolutely!

I'd be the soup nazi, for sure!
I LOOOOVE making soup. So cathartic, what with all the chopping of veggies, making homemade broth, etc.
