Good Monday afternoon BT ! Getting ready to go outside and enjoy the weather. Hmmm time to start C25K. With my luck I'll make it snow again. Oh well here goes nothing but fat.0

Checking in because I have failed miserably so far on the challenge. And, while I was out...I let stress, nerves and laziness get the better of me to the tune of a 5 pound weight gain. Yummy food, but too many bad choices. Should have done better, but it's the past and I'm moving on. At least I kept running...got in at least 19 miles for the week, so I am happy about that. Hope you're all well. Love to all.0

Checking in!
Got up and out the door by 5:50 am burned 1000 calories at my spin class and happy about that cause M is sick and I can't take them to the kids room tonight. Not giving my wait because weigh in was yesterday and I was up 6 pounds. I'm fitting better in my size 12 jeans though so I am ok with it for now. I better start losing again though or I might go crazy. :blushing:0 -
not sure what kind of damage I did this week end but I am hoping by weigh in I will have undone the cake and icecream, I am going walking today.0

Hi everbody,
I have not had a chance to read everybodies post, but I hope all is well. Just checking in. I'm not doing to great had a horrible weekend, 2 kids sick and had to take hubby to ER. He's alive, praise!!! So anyway I have to keep reminding myself it's OK to take things slowly.
I hope you all had a better weekend then me and thank goodness for the weather...spring is in the air!0 -
Jan - I hope your DH is okay.
Marla - I'm so happy things are going well for you right now. Soak it up friend! You and your family deserve it!
Lori B - Our yard decorations are down, but we still have Christmas lights up on the house and roof. They won't come down for another month probably.
Lori L - Can't wait to see the finished project!
Andrew and Beth - I'm so excited to see your clip. I hope they get a link soon.
Tamara, Tanya, Tammy, Roni, Bobbi, Janie, Richie, Shuntae, Sam, Sara, Sara, Amanda and everyone else who I've forgotten to mention by name.....HELLLLLOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
Checking in! Hi All! Another beautiful day here....and I'm stuck inside at work:grumble: :grumble:
Looking forward to day light savings...so we can enjoy the day when we are done working inside!
Hey Marla- How does the Pro-sponsor thing work with tournaments? I was talking about you, my virtual friend, to my brother. He was telling me that they are back with their tournament....the Shop Rite Classic LPGA in June. He's in upper management with ShopRite and gets to play in the practice rounds with the pros. Will Sarah be in that? He said the timing stinks because it is scheduled the same time as the US Open for the men, so coverage will be taken away.
Great day to all!
Can't wait to see the news clip!!0 -

Can't wait to see the news clip!!
Donna-- she'd have to hope for a sponsor's exemption into that one....so if your hubs has any pull, tell 'em to P-U-L-L!!
Corporate sponsorships, as far as I know, helps to pay for upcoming events. They give us mula, we enter into events, et cetera, and in return they get to use her likeness, she wears their logo, blah, blah, blah-- at least that's my understanding. She is fully exempt on the LPGA's developmental tour, the "Duramed Future's Tour," and can enter and play into any event she wishes. She can also enter and play as a professional in any USGA events this year....U.S. Women's Open.
But, she has to hope for an invitation and/or sponsor's exemption into any other events. Where is the Shop-Rite this year? Sarah tried to qualify two years in a row, and missed by a shot or two both times.
As far as coverage...oh my ....timing couldn't be worse this year...yipes.
Fingers crossed!
Richie.... Adorable baby!
Shuntae-- nice to catch the gain at 5 pounds, not 50-- take the positive and press on.
Beth-- can't wait to check the website tonight-- I already have it bookmarked.
Andrew-- hugs my ironman friend.
Need to scoot-- trying to get my house in order from all the furniture moving and clutter associated with getting my son his "own personal space." Clutter and I don't get along.
Later!0 -

I wanted to share a picture of what an average Monday's mileage is, plus I took a walk with Bobbi. Today wasn't even a busy day.
That's 20 miles walked, 2088 calories burned. Yeah to bad I can't count them all. They figure into my lifestyle setting.0 -
Andrew and Beth - Way to make a hormonal pregnant lady cry. Your news story was awesome! :drinker:0

Okay I did the C25K today. Started out W1D1, and did it without the dh. Amazing, it was so much more fun alone. I think partially I feel like I have to do it at a level I'm not at when I run ( or try to run) with him. No offense intended to him, I even told him. He's not really into running anymore just did it for me. You all saw a typical Monday mileage for him, I wouldn't want to run with me either.  :laugh:0

Beth and Andrew...Great video. You guys did great. You have a beautiful family0

I know I'm late but I'm just reading all the posting for this week challenge..I have been MIA for the last month, I lost my motivation to move, but I guess I needed the change because the scale finally moved..I was stuck at 220 for the longest and now its 217 :smokin: finally...
Tomorrow I start again, and its always sooooo good to log on and read all the inspirational stories...thanks everyone for giving me the extra kick in the butt that I needed...
Great video Andrew/Beth and kids...you inspire me..thanks for sharing
Bobbi the email had me wetting my shorts....
Still reading the rest of the posts..so much happening0 -

You know, Bobbi....SERIOUSLY....... I'm in such a quandary because I LOVE RUNNING ALONE, and if/when I do, I have a pouting significant other. I run for exercise, but for stress relief and enjoyment first and foremost. He wants to compete every freaking run.
Last week, he was waiting for me at the end of my run, and instead of stopping at OUR stop sign on our corner, I told him I was going to run to the end of the street to get another 2/10 in. He starts to run with me, and wouldn't even keep my pace just for that flippin' piddly distance.
Eventually I rather got it off my chest..."Ya know, you couldn't just freakin' relax and run with your wife for a whopping 2/10 of a mile?? Must every stupid thing be a competition. Okay, yay, you beat me to the end of the corner....so freaking what. Couldn't you have just settled in and run with me just for, oh gosh, my FUN???"
He got the hint, but it's in his nature.
And even when he does kinda chill out, just being cognizant of him in the loop just takes away from what I enjoyed so much about it. Since he started considering this a couples kinda thing, my enthusiasm has waned slightly. I want to keep my antenna down and just run....call me Forrest Gump. I have no agenda. I have no purpose. I have no destination in mind. I like runnin'. Hard to do that with hubs in the mix. :ohwell:0 -
Andrew and Beth - Way cool! It was really nice to see your beautiful family........ooohhhh i can't even remember what it was like with little ones all over the place....this is why God gives children to the young!
I had a bad eating day today........it really is those darn peeps!
Leslie - Nice to see you checking in!
will try and check in again later.0 -
we need to find a way to hear each other's voices....hmmmmmm. I'm loving hearing Beth and Andrew.
Put your heads together people.....let's figure this out. Cell phone videos posted to facebook? Somethin'-- hmmm.0 -
Andrew and Beth- So proud of you both! Love you to pieces
Marla and Bobbi- Your stories make me glad that BF hates distance running. I love running with the ladies in my group, but I enjoy that solo time, too. Best of both, I guess.
Leslie- Good to see you checking in!
Sam- I am going to join the crowd of jealousy over your TRX. Looks like an awesome workout.
Kati, Jeannie, Janie, Tammy, Tanya, Tamara, both Loris, and anyone I am missing...HELLO!0 -

Well, now that golf season is coming, he'll be busier with Sarah and out more often in the evening, and I'll head out solo. I really wanted to tonight, but the day just blew me away.
J'ever have one of those days where you're sooooooooo uber productive, but every task you accomplish creates about three more? That was my day. Pant pant pant....
We'll try tomorrow, I guess......
Later, my friends.0
