This is a definite NSV for me, and I thought I'd share.
To catch you up, I started doing the 30 Day Shred at roughly 300 pounds. I did Level 1 about 14 times over 18 days. Here's what that progress looked like:
(one of the After pictures has the wrong date... oops)
Since that photo was taken, I did Level 1 another 2 days, and have now done Level 2 for 10 days. It might be 11 days. I'm a little fuzzy on that. I'm not done with Level 2 yet because I truly don't feel ready to move to Level 3. I'm planning on sticking with Level 2 for 10 more days.
I took these photos today because I put on clothes that are TWO sizes smaller than my starting sizes and they FIT. The pants, in fact, are even a wee loose.
Here are today's photos (on the right) compared with a photo of me from very early in the 30 Day Shred, probably only a couple of days in:
The bottom line: don't wait to lose weight before you start exercising! Eating right is essential, but working out will change your body shape. Do it, do it, do it!

Super job. You look great. I started 30DS again a couple days ago, I started it in September got half way through and stopped. I loved it but I didn't make enough time to fit it in with my other workout stuff. I wish I was as committed as you have been! You give me the motivation to keep it going.

Awesome results! Your looking great. Did you do any other excersizes along with it? Or was that your sole form of workout?0

Thank you thank you thank you! I'm always overwhelmed by the support here. Posting pics of me so early in this process is a pretty scary thing to do, so I really appreciate all your encouraging responses.Did you do any other excersizes along with it? Or was that your sole form of workout?
The Shred is my only form of workout. I think two times (total) I have taken a 20 minute walk after doing the workout, but TBH I hate walking. I hate it. I just find it terribly boring.
I feel like doing a "measly" 20 minutes six times a week isn't enough, and I may very well have to increase that when I drop a lot more weight.
THANK YOU again for your encouragement!! :happy:0 -
AH-MAZZZZING! Fantastic committment and fantastic results! Congratulations!0

WOW!!!! YAY YOU!!!!! I started the 30DS over the summer and made it through 8 days in a row....then I just go distracted with school starting (I teach middle school special education life skills). I do Zumba 3-4 times a week but don't do ANY strength training. I have been toying with starting the Shred again. I think you are just what I needed!!! Thank you for your motivational pics! Keep going! You look fabulous!!!!0

Wow these results are awesome, thanks for sharing as I should be doing day 5 of level 2 but wasn't going to bother, I am now going to put my kids to bed, change into my workout gear and put Jillian in the DVD player - thanks for sharing, you are a true inspiration :flowerforyou:0

It's a 20 minute video by Jillian Michaels that is split into 3 levels, 10 days each. It is one of the easier (although not easy... it makes you sweat) muscle confusion programs. Each episode has 3 circuits of the following: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abs. It starts with a warm up and ends with a stretch for a total of 27 minutes (I think) My numbers may be slightly off but that's the main idea.0
