    i met my hand when i was about 4 years old, at the preoperational stage of development and figured out what i could use it for about 9 years after that!

    I was a bartender and she would come in with her sister and cousin. She was the cutest thing I ever saw and has been mine ever since... Been 15 years and she's as cute today as she was back then :smile:

    We met online as well. To be honest I wasn't sure the date would turn into anything but he seemed like a nice guy. That first date lasted 7 hours and we've been together ever since!

    My SO and I met online back in our freshman year of HS. We went to the same school, but never happened to notice each other although we hung around the same people. We were friends for a year until we started to date. It's been rocky and a lot of breaking up, but the last 2 years have been good.

    I basically stole his job whilst he went travelling around Asia... Apparently (as I found out a year later) some of the people we worked with orchestrated the entire thing!

    I actually met my bf at the opening night of a new big club. SO funny to think that we danced for 3 hours and I didn't even know his name lol. He remembers that night very differently because I had been drinking since like 8pm and he was completely sober haha :x

    Worked with him for 10 years, I remember the first day he worked there, I said to my colleague, "oooh, liking that new chef!!" Ten years later we are a couple at last!!

    I asked my coworker who the hot guy was in her wedding party! He was her cousin.

    The wedding I saw him in was in July 2002. We went on a blind date that November (he dated one of the bridesmaids first) and were married in September 2004!

    we grew up together. Her adopted Mom was my mothers foster mom for some time. Growing up my mother lost her home/boyfriends often. We would stay with my wifes family untill my mother got a new place/boyfriend to mooch off of. So long story short, I kinda sort of married my foster Aunt. We have literally known eachother our entire lifes. We played together on a baby blanket when we were both in diapers. (She was so hot then:laugh: ) going on 11 years now.

    My Dad's family pretty much moved into the house opposite my Mum's and he was too shy so his older sister asked her out for him.

    On a phone chat line. Was the 1st time I had ever called one & he was the 1st person I spoke to (kinda like chat roulette but in non-internet days). We talked for 3 days on the phone (not in one sitting though lol) and then we met. Married a month later. Only time we didn't see each other was when I was in hospital with my broken knee & it was hard for him to come see me & take care of our son as well as his mother...so I understood totally. Plus he was packing up my house & moving it all for me (we didn't live together till 7 years ago........ after 9 years of being married)......16 years & counting :)

    I met him on a forum about anime, which I didn't even watch! It was my best friend's first time on a forum & she wanted to have a friend with her. I stayed out of all conversation except threads about regular life topics & met him there. In the chatroom, he asked for my private instant messenger eventually & at first, we didn't talk at all for a week or two! One day, I was considering deleting him, when I suddenly felt bad & decided to ask, 'Hi! How was your day?'

    Little did I know that that question would take me to where I am now :smile: we spoke every night, all night, for weeks. I had a boyfriend at the time, but I was completely in love with him & he was with me. I broke up with him & Andy & I starting dating on December 14th, 2007. We met in person on June 22nd, 2010. Last time we saw each other was January 17th, 2011. Hoping to see each other for our 5th anniversary, or for Lady Gaga's concert in February :wink: definitely seeing each other in summer!

    We're going to be permanently together in 2015 the earliest, 2018 the latest. It's just a matter of waiting for school to end & how careers turn out :heart:

    We met on good ol MySpace.
    The one guy who said something other than 'you're cute' or 'hello' lol.
    We chatted on AIM (remember that?) for a while...

    during that time, i went to a bridal shower and won two free movie tickets soooooooo...
    I asked him on a date ;-)

    That date was the first time we saw each other in person and we went to see the remake of "The Omen" lol...


    6 years later, 2+ years of marriage, 1 kid later...here we are :-)

    I don't know if I posted on the other one or not yet.

    We met because I sent a drunken text message to the wrong number. He was so nice about it and I was single so I thought 'what the hell'. We met two months later, moved in and got engaged three months later, got married three months after that. We've now been married a bit over a year and a half. Everyone says it was fate. I think I just got lucky.

    I have been knowing my husband my whole life!! Never in a million years did I think we would be together. He came to pay his respects to my family when my grandfather passed because he is good friends with my brother. He hugged me and we talked because I hadn't seen him in years. He then stated that he knows it's bad timing but would like to go out on a date with me. I said yes, we never parted. Three months later we were married...LOL!! Here we are 5 years later, still together!!

    I've been with my wife since I was 18 in 2002. In a few weeks we celebrate our 10 years anniversary.

    We met in college... A big group of kids started hanging out outside and one day I met her through a friend and we were interested in each other but were too shy to do anything about it.

    One day a girl asked ME out and even though she was pretty and had a great personality something made me say no... I was waiting on Nikki and didn't want to miss my chance.

    I had two girls interested in me at the same time. I guess I used to be quite the stud... We started dating a few weeks later when her friend threw us together and its been the best ten years of my life.
