I add cinnamon to many things for extra flavor.
I have also added EmergenC or Airborne to my vanilla protein powder, it adds flavor and gives me a bump of vitamin C0 -

Mint chocolate chip ice cream shake:
1/2 cup skim milk
2 to 3 cups of spinach. (there is a recipe for freezing your spinach on bodybuilding.com that will make it thicker, and more shake-like.
1 scoop vanilla or chocolate protein powder. (vanilla looks better)
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
sweetener to taste (optional)
1/2 frozen banana.
1 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)
Cookies and cream shake:
1/2 cup skim milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
sweetener to taste
1/2 frozen banana
1- 100 calorie pack oreo cookies, or 2 reduced fat oreo cookies
5 or 6 ice cubes0 -

1 scoop chocolate protein
1 scoop Click mocha protein
1 cup soy milk
1 pump of sugar free Torani chocolate syrup
6 ice cubes

Cake Batter Protein Shake! Delicious!
1/2 cup Low fat cottage cheese
1 Scoop vanilla protein powder
3-5 Drops butter or almond extract
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2-5 Stevia packets (or sweetener of choice to taste)
1/2 cup-1cup Water (Alter this according to desired consistency)
5-10 Ice Cubes (Depending on how thick you like it, use less for a thinner consistency)0 -

My post-workout smoothie may consist of either all or some of these ingredients:
1 cup Natura soymilk (unsweetened) - 80cal
1 banana - 110cal
1 tofu Sunrise dessert packet (Any flavor usually works) - 90cal
2 tbsp Kraft smooth 25% less fat peanut butter - 160cal
2-3 ice cubes
Total: 440 cal (If you use all the above ingredients)
- It helps to microwave the peanut butter before pouring it in.
- The Sunrise tofu company makes lots of flavors (Custard, coconut, banana, berry, almond) & 1 packet is only 90 calories! It also helps to sweeten the smoothie along with the banana.
- Sometimes I put Fry's cocoa powder in the smoothie if I'm lacking other ingredients. Microwave the milk first, and the powder will mix in fine The same goes for instant coffee!0 -

1 medium banana
1 scoop chocolate whey
1 tablespoon almond butter
makes about a 12-14oz drink

2 tbsp maple syrup
Scoop vanilla protein
1/2 banana (frozen for thick/ice cream texture--also use 1/2 cup milk)
1 cup milk
3-5 ice cubes
Blend. Top with 1/2 cup cereal and eat with spoon.

1 tbs cinnamon (to taste)
1 tbs nutmeg (to taste)
1/2 cup sugar free/no sugar added apple sauce

1/2 tsp guar gum
1/3 c. milk of choice

blend together until smooth and creamy. For those who aren't banana lovers--fear not. I don't even taste the banana in this.0 -
