I worked with a Dr. Harry Ennis. It would have been even better if he was a proctologist but he was an OB/GYN.

The city of Fort Wayne, IN had a mayor once named Harry Baals (prounounced Bales...but everyone of course said Balls).

I hate names that the parents very likely just came up with "to be creative and unique". Examples of ones I've heard this year are Bayzie and Elektra (both girls). I also don't like all those new names that are just descriptor words like Hunter, Rider, Fisher, etc.

I'm a cake decorator in a tiny southern town. You can only imagine some of the names I've had to write on cake. We actually have a list of shame Lol! The worst by far though are---- Girl: Manaja (pronounced Menage....as in Menage a trios) and Boys: Philander and Shart' Avious (pronounced Shar-Tavious) I kid you not! Honestly nothing surprises me anymore.

@lucyinthesky2 Have you ever seen this site? www.cakewrecks.com

I have actually! Many hours of good laughs!

I have always been picked on for my name.

The nerdy girl on Scooby Doo.... Velma. I was the 3rd generation Velma in my family. I am the LAST! My mother-in-law's name was Thelma, so we promised each other that if I had a child, she would not be named Thelma nor Velma. I kept that promise. My daughter's name is Angelynn.

My great-grandfather's name was Foot Smith
    A Great-Great Uncle's name was Nefater (nuh-fay-tur)
My Great Grandmother's name was (Full Blooded Choctaw) Loonie (loony)
