I have so dropped the ball on this! I'm going to get back at it today because I'm hoping to start the push-up challenge over in April doing them REAL stlye instead of from my knees! I wanted to have done week one three times by then (each column) and I was going to then start REAL style column one!
ARGH!!!0 -

Well I learned this evening that a sit ups exhaustion test doesn't go very well if you just did your first ever pilates DVD a few hours before....whoops
I could only do about 50  :grumble: I did 130 for my last exhaustion test.
SO, back to week 5 day 1 for me and I'll get going again maybe on Wednesday.
Rene - great job, you are putting me to shame!!!:drinker:0 -

meook- I tried to do the exhaustion test after my pilates "trial" too ,and good god did it hurt. I stopped after about 10 and said Id do it later!!! I might give pialtes a try after more weight loss but for right now it kicked my *kitten*0 -
Did my exhaustion test following week 5- I did 120!!!!
I pushed myself really hard and I am proud of that number! My abs still hurt this monring though...dont know if its just from the sit ups or if the pilates helped too...0 -
Did my exhaustion test following week 5- I did 120!!!!
WOW...I need to do my exhaustion test today...I don't think I can get to 120 though...that is WAY impressive!!!0 -
did my exhaustion tests:
sit ups: 100
Squats: 75
push ups: 31
I'm getting better...though the push ups are tough!!0 -
My boyfriend has been doing this. I stand on his feet and count for him or watch him on webcam if we aren't together.
He was really struggling at first to get to a total of 75, but after about 7 sessions he did 131 total yesterday and I'm so proud. If only I was as motivated as him though :P0 -
Ugh, these past 3 days have been BLAH for me...got to get motivated again...I just dropped off the exercise train since Wed. I'll need to get back to it today0
-
Rene- sorry to have left you all by yourself for awhile, I hope you are still going strong, you were doingso awesome!!
I fell off the sit up wagon but I am back on full force today!!
4/7/10- Week 6 column 3 day 2
SETS- 33,33,45,45,36,36,32,32, (Min 90)..I did 100
Total of 392!!! WOW!!!:noway:0 -
I have been a terrible sit up slacker but I recomitted this evening and lo and behold I just did 210 in a row
surprising myself today !!!!0 -
You guys rock!
I fully admit I haven't been doing any at all. :ohwell:0 -
I've been doing it. The push ups are hard for me but the sit ups are almost too easy. Probably from the running and core work I've been doing.0
-
A little late but I'm in!
Week 1- First exhaustion test
Sit-ups-132
Push-ups-13
Squats-410 -
Ok so here goes nothing. Because I completed so many sit-up's for the first exhaustion apparently I am in
Week 3, Day 1, Column 3
21
27
38
35
50
I know that this isn't exactly what week 3 day1 column3 is suppose to be. But I did more and pushed myslef because that's what I do and I knew I could do more! Aiming for the 200 mark tomorrow
Total: 171 Time: 16min0 -

That's awsome!!!!!
It took me almost 2 months from initial test to 200 in a row0 -
This seems pretty motivating for me to get my strength training in. They also have a feature to log the number of situps, pushups & squats and can post to FB to challenge your friends.
Initial Test:
28 situps (column 3)
15 pushups (column 3)
40 squats (week 3, column 2)
I could have done more squats but stopped because I didn't want to get too far ahead....weird thought pattern on that one.
Tues, Thurs and Sat for this.0 -
Week 1: Column3:
Sit-ups Week 1: Day 1: 15 + 18 + 10 + 10 + 23 = 76
Push-ups: Week 1: Day 1: 10 + 12 + 12 + 7 + 7 + 15 = 63
Week 3: Column 2:
Squats:Week 3: Day 1: 16 + 22 + 17 + 17 + 37 = 109
I think for squats I could have done column 3, will try that for day 2 to see if it's any more challenging.0 -
Is no one else still doing this?
Week 1: Column3:
Sit-ups Day 2: 15 + 18 + 15 + 15 + 25 = 88
Push-ups Day 2: 10 + 12 + 8 + 8 + 16 = 54
Week 3: Column 3:
Squats Day 2: 27 + 34 + 21 + 21 + 40 = 143
I didn't do much better on push-ups today like I did for day 1. But I did alot better for squats, even after switching to a harder column. I felt more challenged this time though. Sit-ups got a little hard too.0 -
Just joined this challenge today. Found myself a bit disappointed in how weak my abs and arms are, but at least I have no where to go but up right?
4-25 - Initial pushup challenge - 10
4-25 -- Initial situp challenge - 17
Will start week 1 on Tuesday. Wish me luck!0 -
I am0
