I actually break out in hives, from eating bananas, mild allergy. The last time, I actually ate bananas has been over 25 years! I have to be careful, if someone else makes banana bread, snacks with bananas, etc...0

Quite some time ago my doctor told me about Glycemic Index and what I took away from that was to try to choose low GI foods where possible, especially fruits because I love the sugar. I'm not qualified to comment on the finer points of Glycemic Index, but here is a list of foods (including fruits and veggies) with their GI value.

bananas are like the best fruit you can eat.. micronutrient dense, potassium dense.. just one of the greatest foods ever. usually bodybuilders pick 1 or 2 fruits to consume its usually bananas and some sort of berry...
