    The Mayans are not nuts, they were a very intelligent, ancient race, well ahead of their time. I think it would be a positive thing, if people were ready, in spirit, for all to end next Friday, although if I believed it, I wouldn't be buying my Christmas turkey next Wednesday. Over the years there have been many doomsday predictions, but I don't advocate eating none stop before Friday, as this is probably another pile of horse poo...

    December 21, 2012 is the Mayan equivalent of December 31 on our calendar. It really boggles my mind that people are thiis worked up over New Year's Eve...

    I'll start believe the world will end when an asteroid the size of the moon is discovered to be heading in a direct path for us.

    Seeing how the world ends Dec.21st is it okay if I binge eat everything insight or will I have to stay in shape to fight the Zombies? Debating whether to pig out or go Zombie hunting. Always wanted a zombie head to mount on the wall.

    i am very disappointed in the lack of whackos talking about this. i would have thought the hype would have been much higher.

    but i guess we just had a couple end of the world scares with that insane preacher (harold Camping?) maybe we are immune now.

    and, as I said on another thread of the same nature... if the world turns into a firey ball of lava, an airplane is probably the safest place to be..... at least until it runs out of fuel
