I only feel disgusted if I overeat or I ate something that tasted bad0

This time of year, EVERYTHING! LOL its so hard with all the temptations out there. I cant wait for the holiday season to be over with so there isn't so much for me to be tempted by. I don't buy junk food on a regular basis for that that reason. But its hard. This morning I had a cookie and egg nog..
Remember its one cookie! just make the rest of the day count Good luck0 -
Sweets, and anything fast food for the most part. I'll do it out of conveniece and then I hate myself everytime, never feel good afterwards lol0

Most things that I used to find delicious. Baked (non-low calorie/hearty-filling) goods, chips, fried food. The guilt for feeling weak and giving in adds to the disgust. Great motivation at times though.0

I think some of you need to work on your relationship with food. Seriously. You and food should try couples counselling. It might be difficult to convince food to go, but if you explain to food that it is necessary for the relationship to continue, I'm sure it will come around.0

Anything that I know will make me crave later that day. And I don't just mean crave unhealthy foods, either. I mean wander around feeling like I'm starving, stuffing everything I can find into my face.
So pretty much anything with a lot of carbs and/or sugar.
It's not that I think eating a little of those foods is bad, it's that I found out I can't just eat a little without being miserable the rest of the day wanting more. So I feel disgusting, or rather, disgusted with myself for setting myself up for it.0 -
Really?!
Really?!
I eat whatever fits my macros!
Ate a half of a pizza for dinner last night.

I feel like this everytime i fall off wagon and binge eat i remeber the first time i did it after i eat really well for 6 mths and my body couldnt cope with crap i fed it and it made me phyiscally sick and it was awful so i not done it to that extent again but even when i eat something that i know i shouldnt i feel so bad after - and this time of year is even worse0

Last night I was so hungry I thought I was going to die and was lightheaded and had a raging headache. Instead of reaching for a piece of fruit while waiting for dinner, I ate half of a container of chocolate covered pretzel rods and two slices of leftover pizza. Felt pretty disgusted afterwards.0

Literally anything with sugar or processed wheat.0

I just ate a freshly baked, warm, gooey and delicious chocolate chip cookie.
And now I feel disgusting.
What types of food (or drink) do you consume and later think ... " Why did I do that ?"
I don't, that type of thinking leads to negative emotions. Negative emotions don't contribute to a successful journey. What you did is done, no need to stress about it.
Totally agree with you on this one ^^0 -
Anything that didn't taste good. Last week it was a piece of cheesecake. I love cheesecake and eat it frequently, but this one was just gross. I was disgusted I bothered finishing it when it tasted horrible.0

I envy you. Clearly you have better brain wiring than I do. If I ate half a pizza I'd eat (or want to eat) a whole one. Then I'd want soda to wash it down, icecream for dessert, a pastry, a chocolate milk, a double cheeseburger from Five Guys, some fries, and then I'd probably wake up the next morning feeling nauseated yet strangely hungry!0 -
The pizza last night gave me some bad poops - the kind that makes you need a shower, and that made me feel pretty disgusting :sick:0

Cinema popcorn, there's like 54878093 calories in one small serving.0

Abslutely nothing. I watch my calorie count and eat whatever I want (even if it is just a very small serving).

you need to learn restraint.0 -

Ate these on friday, thought to myself why didn't I get a whole dozen, live and learn
Fancy donuts from Federal Donuts (Spicy PB&J, Butter Pecan, Maple bacon, Pumpkin and White choc pretzel)

An entire plate of fried foods? That disgusted me just to look at while pregnant, so i dont do all that nastiness. I can eat pretty muchanything guilt free unless i eat soooo much that it makes me feel physically sick.0

Every now and then I'll eat a whole pizza. Yes, I usually feel pretty blah after, but then I think, "This only happens maybe once a month. It's not going to undo everything I'd done between this pizza and the last," and carry on. A binge every now and then is actually healthy, it helps the body know that there *is* food, even if you're not eating *all* of it.0

Or I could be smart and not eat the foods that set me off, therefore not need to use up energy and focus on restraining myself.0 -
Nothing...so far. However after a hangover, I always ask myself, ''Whyyyyy!?!?"0

One cookie will not hurt you, if you are too strict you are just setting yourself up for failure long term.0 -

Haha yeah, this too. Just because vodka is carb-free doesn't mean it's okay to drink myself cross-eyed! Plus alcohol munchies are the debil.0 -

yeah, i tried that.
but then i had my own issues where i'd just over eat.
like pizza. pizza is a food i could really binge on. so i have a rule. i can't eat pizza more then twice a week, and no more than two slices at a time. has worked so far.
peanut m&ms. another favorite of mine. so if i want some, i make myself some trail mix. 1/4 cup each of peanut m&m's, cashews, almonds, and raisins. works soooooo good.0 -

Actually trail mix with M&Ms doesn't set me off too bad and I would try it if I started feeling weak or lethargic while working out, I could probably handle a little chocolate, with some raisins and peanuts, if I pre-weighed the bags first.
But what I'm thinking of doing is mixing raisins and peanuts then ordering some cocoa beans and cocoa butter, putting the beans in with my coffee, using the butter as a creamer, and getting that choco-buzz without the sugar!0 -
custard filled doughnuts that my partner loves! I used to put them in the microwave and heat them up and then think "oh damn"
Hes just brought home an apple pie and custard so hes not a supportive guy lol0 -
Nothing: I eat pretty much anything I want, but I keep it to the organic versions, so the organic chocolate or smartpuffs or whatever doesn't make me sick from too much sugar or crappy chemical additives. The only time I feel gross is if we eat deep-fried stuff at a restaurant, and you can tell the oil is a little spoiled or something genuinely unwholesome, and burping follows later in an unpleasant way. Other than that, I enjoy nice food, and I don't give myself a hard time because of my organic chocolate or coffee or smartpuffs or whatever..0

Too much of anything alcoholic... and then, only because the headache I have the next morning. I never feel guilt or disgust over food I've eaten. Food is awesome!0
