Some food from this week. Tastier than they look, slow cooker, green-tea rubbed pork ribs, rice, and salad:
Happy, cheesy omelet, toast, and Clementine orange slices:
Disney food from the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Resort. Pan-seared duck, served with mung, adzuki, and cranberry beans with chorizo sausage and spinach in a tamarind glaze. That was delicious. (In the back right, Kona Coffee-rubbed Pork chop which was also very tasty):
Some Florida avocados w/ red onions and soy sauce.
Chicken livers, mashed potatoes and gravy, yellow squash, green beans, and a Greek yogurt biscuit:

Because I am stuck here for Christmas until my brother gets better, I said that at least I should have some Christmas food...
Around here pork stuff are popular during Christmas time so I got from local producers some „traditional” sausages. I went over the top with the pork liver paste... but I added some fresh salad and tomatoes. I limited myself to 500 calories. The rest of the sausage will probably go in a stew with lots of veggies and legumes to make it lighter.
Chicken marinated with yogurt, ginger, garlic and lemon juice. Next, a not so good looking mushroom stew. White sauces get to me... especially the ones made with greek yogurt. 430 calories alltogether.
Chicken breast smeared with mustard and tarragon sauce, filled with a little chicken ham and maasdam cheese. Next to potatoes and broccoli and a little salad. I used my non-stick pan and did not used any fat for cooking (the maasdam cheese already has enough  ). This was 499 calories of food. The chicken was delicious and I will definetly try again.
