I just finished The Dog Stars by Peter Heller; an odd little post-apocalyptic fantasy. Superb characterization, I recommend it if you are open to this sort of story.

Tonight I picked up The Hobbit to reread and also (new to me) Catch Me by Lisa Gardner, and At the Mouth of the River of Bees by Kij Johnson.

I read a lot and will probably have finished these by the end of next week.

Just went back and read the rest of the thread -- you all have good taste in books! And some I haven't read (now waiting in my Amazon cart) -- and my son would love the Art of War graphic novel (he's hard to buy books for). Thanks!

I'm reading Brave New World right now. I've attempted to read it a few times before but was distracted and never got too far into it. Not sure what I'll read next.

After that...maybe House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski or an audiobook narrated by Michael Palin about the early years of Python!

right now I'm reading this thread. Next I'll either go read a thread about starvation mode in order to fuel my need to troll, or I'll go Google something about amphibians.

I'm in the middle of Brave New World!! I read Atlas Shrugged before that. It was my introduction to the dystopian universe.
