Anyone else staying in tonight to ring in the New Year? We usually have people over, but my husband wasn't up to it this year. I'll watch some football and maybe stay up to see the ball drop, but otherwise it will be a quiet night.
What are your "stay at home" plans?

Drinking and watching movies or playing board games. :drinker:0

Looks like we're the only ones. lol0

My husband and I are in for the night, too. He is on call for work so no drinking for him. We will probably play some games and he in bed before midnight.0

You are not alone, we are home for the evening too. Nothing special planned, probably movie night and a bit of overindulging in fattening foods and spirits Happy New Year!!!0
-
by myself, drinking, and watching The Godfather0

By myself and watching TV and reading... and of course, looking at the message boards!0

Staying in bed with lights off diving into progressive power metal albums that I missed throughout the year on Spotify and reading books/comics/internet on my nook. Trying not to think about friends and their loved ones....seems quite hard to do. There's pretty much nothing else to do. Absolutely nothing of interest on tv (I could care less about the ball drop these days) and no netflix rentals to watch.0

Our joke is that any movie you like to watch over and over is your "Godfather". Of course this is because my husband could watch "The Godfather" every single day and not get bored with it. Apparently "Bridget Jones Diary" and "Fried Green Tomatoes" are both my Godfather. lol0 -
Happy New Year everyone! It's our very own MFP NYE party. Cheers! :drinker:0

this will be the most low key new years i have had in a very long time... staying in, ordering in, maybe one other couple will be here otherwise just me and the hubby!0

I get out of work at midnight and I have a cold.
May just go home and take a few shots and
hang out. (:0 -
Staying in, as usual. Putting my 2 year old (who has strep and the flu) to bed very soon and letting my 5 year old stay up til midnight if she quits acting like a crazy girl! Just spending family time, watching a movie, maybe playing uno, eating TCBY frozen yogurt. LOL0
-
Counting my toes. I swear I had 21 of them at one point....0
-
I'm hiding... so I'm around. Playing Torchlight II and probably turning in early for an early day at the gym.0
-
Staying home with boyfriend and 7 year old daughter. Gonna watch tv, maybe a movie, have some snacks, hopefully stay up til the ball drops, and go to bed. New years day is my boyfriends birthday too!0

I know a guy with a major foot fetish. You are his dream woman. :laugh:0 -
I'll be at work until 10:30 and then home to ring in 2013. The best part about NYE is watching The Honeymooner's marathon!!!0
-
World Juniors Hockey Canada Vs. Russia... doesn't get any better than that!
oh and the BF's homemade wings... nom nom nom0 -
At work till 11pm and doing a flip so back at 7am. No going out for me0
-
At home, reading, watching TV, Facebooking, posting with MFP friends, reading posts but NOT eating. :-}0

Staying home here as well. Season Five of The Wire on the tube and a couple of beers for him and Frescas for me. We'll probably stay awake long enough for a Happy New Year kiss...0
-
my niece invited me to do fireworks with her but i'will probably just go to bed around 9 or 10 like i always do0
-
Staying in, drinking sparkling grape juice and eating a meat/cheese tray with my boys...hubster is working overnights tonight. Here's to the stay at home partyers! :drinker:0
-
Staying in here I am not a party animal anymore and hubby was up to late last night watching baby pigs born, so he has crashed already. I will play on my computer for a bit, watch the ball drop and go to bed. Happy New Years!!0
-
I'm staying home, too. Drinking wine and planning on watching Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin do their yearly countdown. I love watching her embarrass the hell out of him
Cover charges are everywhere - why would I want to pay to enter a bar that I always get in for free? Plus, I can get drunk with no shame without having to figure out how to get home. It's a win-win!0
