Am I really the only person that cracks an egg into their oatmeal? I put 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 cup water, 1/4 tsp salt, 2 tbsp stevia in the raw, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract with 1/2 cup rolled oats and microwave it for 5 minutes at 50% power.. then throw an egg in there and stir it up and microwave it until the oatmeal thickens. It basically turns into a gigantic bowl of hot brownie batter. Delicious. Sometimes I add some blueberries, raspberries, cherries, or PB2.

Not for long! That sounds delicious

Cinnamon and blend in 2 TBSP of one of the following: Smuckers Sugar-free Preseves, boysenberry, red raspberry, blueberry, apricot, peach or orange marmalade. it's awesome yummy, fills you up AND is a nice zero sweet tooth fix.

I usually make mine with water. I've had a hard time getting to my calorie goal on lifting day recently though so I'm trying milk, but I haven't perfected it. I go through spurts where I add the same thing forever then I'll randomly switch.

    Currently I do:
    1/2c old fashioned oats
    1c water or milk
    1 tbsp raw cacao nibs
    1/2 ounce walnuts
2 tsp raw local honey (its for my allergies I swear)
splash of milk if I didn't make it with milk

Other things I've put in my oatmeal (most of them seem pretty popular)- cranberries, apples, peanut butter, chia seeds, banana, and pumpkin pie spice.

Wow, so apparently the exciting Oatmeal bandwagon passed me by!

I've always just eaten it with milk, but never enjoyed it!

Maybe one of these ones will spice it up a bit :)

Apples or apple sauce. If I do instant oatmeal, I usually try to stick to the lower sugar Quaker variety and add a tub of lite cinnamon apple sauce to it (50 cals). Or I do steel cut oats in the crockpot and add a few cubed up apples, some cinnamon and a little bit of brown sugar (water for liquid).
  • Dried fruit. I'm trying to give up refined sugar, so this is a slightly healthier way of adding some sweetness!

    I love overnight oats!

    1/4 cup rolled oats
    1/4 cup skim milk
    1/4 cup plain yogurt
    1/2 TBSP chia seeds
    1/2 TBSP brown sugar
    frozen mixed berries

Mix it all up and put in the fridge. I would make a week's worth every Sunday and they kept fine.

I'm trying to cut out dairy and added sugar so I will definitely be trying some of the other recipes on here.

I do many in different ways. I'm obsessed with oatmeal.

    1. Chocolate peanut butter and egg white oatmeal:
    - 1/2 one minute oats
    - 3 or 4 egg whites
    - Tblsp of natural peanut butter
    - Tblsp of unsweetened cacao powder
    - two packets of Stevia
    - two tsp of cinnamon
Sometimes I use non fat or low fat plain Greek yogurt instead of egg whites

    2. Mixed berry, peanut butter and Greek yogurt and cinnamon oatmeal:
    - 1/2 oats
    - 3-4 egg whites or 3/4 or 1/2 greek yogurt
    - frozen mixed berries
    -cinnamon
-natural peanut butter or sometimes walnuts
    -2 packets of Stevia

    3. coffee, apple, cinnamon and greek yogurt oatmeal
    - 1/2 oats
    - 1/2 black coffee
    - one medium or large apple
    - two tsp cinnamon
    - 3 - 4 egg whites or greek yogurt
    - 2 packets of stevia

    4. banana nut oatmeal with egg white or greek yogurt with cinnamon:
    -1/2 oats
    -one large or medium banana
    -walnuts or natural peanut butter
-3-4 egg whites or greek yogurt
    -two tsp cinnamon
    - 2 packets of stevia

    5. egg nog (almond milk version) and cinnamon oatmeal with egg whites:
    -1/2 oats
    - 3-4 egg whites
    - 1/2 cup almond milk egg nog
    - two tsp cinnamon
    - tblsp natural peanut butter
    - 2 packets of stevia

    6. Almond milk salty porridge with egg whites
    -1/2 oats
    - 3-4 egg whites
    -1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
    - as much salt as desired
-as much black pepper as desiered

I also make oat flour by blending a few cups of one minute oats in a blender till it's flour. I make pancakes with it and put it in my morning protein smoothie.

I make it with soy milk and add one banana. No sugar needed! It's sweet and delightful. :)

I mix equal parts oats and unsweetened vanilla almond milk. (I eat it cold.) When I was first starting to phase in the oatmeal, I put sugar in it (brown or white), but now I actually like it without any sweetner.
