Started MFP at 175 lbs. (US size 12/14)
Now maintaining at 145 lbs. (US size 6/8)
Eat 1700-odd calories a day without exercise
Exercise adds another 300 calories or so- I don't do any crazy calorie burning cardio, just brisk walking and pilates.0 -

Calories in: My goal is 1750, but I am quite happy anywhere from 1600 - 2000 depending on the day and my activity level.
Calories Out: Also depends, but I average burning about 3,000 calories a week in 5-6 workouts this time of year.
Goals: I have been active and athletic for a number of years, it is just much easier when you weigh less. Moving the body with less mass doesn't hurt as much. And if I weigh 170 my coach will finally get off my back.
Plus I believe we should all wear bikinis and I don't want to feel bad about it anymore.0 -

trying to eat the 1200 - think I might have cut too much from my diet though, because I struggle to reach 1000 most days. On top of exams and studying, I forget to eat a lot of the time
burn around 3/400 4 days a week from running, 500 twice a week with jiu jitsu.
Motivation: not so much weight loss, but curbing the weight gain. I got to uni last term and went "wooh, I can eat everything that I want!" Cue the pizza and ice cream and crisps and chocolate - and then the 15 pound gain! My mum's great at making healthy meals, so I'm trying to replicate what she does0 -

22, 5'7", 159, eat around 1800-1900 cals a day and sometimes weight lift & HIITs (3x a week). I'll burn about 250 cals on those days. I want to lose weight & gain muscle.
I may have to keep losing weight though, still have a tummy & want to get into the 140s. I was at 154 before Christmas but haven't been able to get back into the groove. Still eating sweets & on my period, boooo. Oh well.0 -

In highschool I was about 140 and while that was great for my height, I was flabby. I would love to get back to that (maybe even as low as 130) but a toned version. I may stop at 150 if I feel great. We'll just have to see.0 -

I used to be a swimmer with an entirely sculpted and fit body and then illness and a very busy but sedentary studying lifestyle caused a great deal of muscle tone loss.
