Salted Liquorice - really popular in Holland but I am the only person I know who likes it.
Hot Sauce - On everything .. there is no such thing as too much hot sauce  but I don't think its that popular in the UK.

Agreed! Clearly MFP turns us into foodies... or crazy people. Either way we seem to be in agreement on a lot of things that make others cringe.

Who doesn't like blueberries? I thought everyone liked blueberries! Ugh! I don't want to live in this world anymore!
I don't. I'm not sure why, but I can barely choke them down. I love fruits, just not that one. I don't like avocados or mangoes either. I know I'm weird. We all have our different tastes. There's nothing wrong with that.

Bah this is so true. I have tried. Really, I have, because I know they're good for you. But I gag every time I attempt to eat blueberries. I don't know why.

    1. Plain Greek Yogurt 0% Fat - no added sweet anything
    2. Whole wheat bread with a sliced banana, peanut butter (or almond butter) and turkey bacon
    3. pickled beets

I'm trying to think of other things, a common 'french-canadian' thing is drinking tomato juice with salt and pepper too.

I think a lot of the foods mentioned are quite popular in the UK (ie Sweet Potato, Goat's Cheese, Cottage Cheese, Spinach, Brussels Sprouts... to name a few).

I'll eat anything really (except sweetcorn - yak!) but there are a couple of things I really like that others will turn their nose up at...

    Pickled Eggs
    Calves Liver

    2. Cottage cheese - Could eat 3 times a day. Great protein, can add all sorts of stuff to it.

    3. Brussel Sprouts- Grilled, steamer, whatever, I love 'em.

    Do beverages count?

    - Almond milk (I don't even bother with regular milk anymore)
    - Eggplant
    - Mussels

I judge all restaurants on the quality of their eggplant parmesan and mussels lol.

I love eggplant parmesan. But find that none can compare to my own version.

I've been told that everything I eat is weird and most people would starve if they ate at my house. But I do live in the middle of hickville where venison is straight up deer (that's fancy talk LOL).

Asparagus is my fav followed by brussel sprouts.
    Eggplant
Blackbeans-I can eat these in anything, anyway
