I'm so sorry for your loss and I think this is a perfect way to still remember your grandpa Keep on truckin'! You'll make it to Rivendell soon enough! (I actually just finished reading The Hobbit and loved it).0
-
I want to do this! When would it start! I can't do much, I'm on crutches, but I will get to RIVENDALE! Can my friend Shoobiegirl join? She's a huge LOTR fan!!!0
-
Oh my gosh. I have to do this! Thank you so much!!!0

Bumping; I have been avoiding outside because of the weather, but I am getting myself a bicycle as a late Christmas present (and a new one for all my family members too), so we will likely bike our way to Rivendell. I think I need to make them re-read the book, take them to the movie, and get them MOTIVATED so we can do this as a family! Thanks OP for the great idea, and I am so sorry for your loss. I hope I have instilled as much a love of literature in my kids as it sounds as though your grandpa did for you!0

Starting with all my walking and running miles as of January 1, I am currently at Frogmorton and enjoying my stay at The Floating Log.0
-
I am in! It probably won't all be outside, like I would like it to be, but I'm going to clock in those miles. To Rivendell!0

Trying to start today... on crutches... and not able to bike yet...0
