Okay... So, I am hitting bottom for the first time since I really started trying to lose weight (1/1/2010) I am so depressed. I workout extremely hard and dont see any results -hardly. I am so happy that I can tell my endurance is up, but I can feel myself giving up. On top of all of that, I have been rather happy that my scale has been telling me I am 174ish... Now, understand this is not where I want to be... but better than 185! However, this week I learned that my scale is for sure broken. I compared on two different scales and they both read much higher than mine at home Like... back around original weight. ughh
After all of this happened, I just really let this week go. I gave up trying really. I went to my gym classes, but not as much as I usually do. I let my food take over! I never went above 1,800 calories, but my goal is 1,200! I don't know what to do. I don't want to be in a slump. I want to show results. I have been at this for almost 5 months and only 8 lbs-maybe....
One positive is that at my gym class last night a lady asked me "how much weight have you lost?" That made me feel better... it came out of nowhere. I think I was really flattered because she is the star pupil of the class-so named by me . She really is fabulous!
I will weigh in later when I get around my scale. Dont know how much I can trust it though. I hate that I am already feeling sluggish today - partly due to the bad weather here- I believe I can blame some of it on my bad eating habits this week as well! I don't even feel like exercising today- but hopefully I will tonight at home. At least a little something.0 -

Don't get discouraged! If someone noticed you look like you are losing weight, that is a great sign.
With the exception of the weekly weigh-ins, I NEVER get on the scale. I go by how my clothes are fitting.

So, I cant find my last weeks post with my start weight or the spreadsheet that was made. Any ideas where to look? Dumb I know!
Also, one of my mini goals was to lose 5 lbs in 2 weeks. Now I have to do it in 1! I don't know whats wrong with me!!! I've been eating like crazy this weeks. I think its because it's going to be that lovely time. But, even though I eat A LOT I make sure to work out enough to cover the cals.
I know you don't care but I just needed to say it to try and convince myself that its ok. Oh well, tomorrow is another day!0 -
I just finished the sit up challenge - I was able to do 106! I will keep working with this website to work myself up to 200 just like those of you who have completed this!!
I plan to meditate tonight after yoga, when my son has gone to bed

Alright girls... send week and I already have an issue! Shred is there a way to create a shortcut to this board?
I need to figure out a schedule or something! I check in every day to add my food in but iit slips my mind to check the board.... that is until Friday comes around and its weigh in time! This means that I am always late for the challenges! Aaahhh!
How is everyone doing this? Do u check boards on Mondays for the challenges? Are we building on the challenges (e.g. wk 1= 4 workouts, wk 2= situps + wk 1's workouts, wk 3= ? + wk 1 + wk 2) or are we just doing one different challenge every week?

I was having such a bad day today. I woke up in lots of pain and very swollen. ( I have Endometriosis)
I have meditated I have been able to go up to 65 situps (started at 20) I will let you all know when I hit 200

I did well this week until I had to start making my cake on Thursday. I didn't work out on Thursday, and I made my cake all day today and not sure if I'm going to be up for doing anything tonight. I did 2/3 days in the sit-up challenge, hope to do day 3 tomorrow. Hoping to kick some butt next week with stellar workouts and superior meals to have a great weight loss... hopefully!

It's been a busy day today! I'm so glad I didn't forget to log on. It hasn't been the best of starts for me but things are getting better.
CW (week 2): 172
So I've gained a few pounds but really that's no surprise. It means I'll have to work my butt off next week! And considering how far I'm behind on house work, that should be no problem. I'm working on this weeks challenge still.

I had a downer of a week last week too and didn't lose a single ounce so I switched it up this week and upped my calories to 1450 per day and took the exercise down to a lower amount. Guess what - lost 1.6 lbs this week. When it comes to losing weight, for me, exercising too much seems to have a negative effect. I definitely need my rest too.
At the end of the day, you feel better and you look better and you are more healthy. That's what matters.0 -

Hello, sorry I didn't post my weight yesterday. I hope I am not too late. I am surprised I lost anything at all as I started a new temp job on Monday and have had a stinking cold all week so haven't worked out at all. I am def gonna go and give it a blast today though, strangely I have really missed it.

Sorry i missed putting my current weight on yesterday. Still 135. Sigh. At least I weighed before I went out for my birthday last night, my fiance took me to this fantastic french restaurant and I bet I'm going to have to do a lot of extra work this week to make up for it!0
