    I normally do not cry watching movie. The one that made cry was a Hindi movie called "Baagwan" starring Amitabh Bacchan. The movie is about ill treatment of their aging parents by their grownup kids. If you ever get a chance, please watch one - make sure the movie has sub-titles so that you can follow the dialogues and the emotional content.

    BTW - The word "Baagwan" means a gardener. "Baag" means garden - reference to a family being a garden.

    I have too many X chromosomes for this thread but I had to comment on this being that my husband is Indian and I have definitely seen my share of Hindi movies. 2 that come to mind are "Kal Ho Na Ho" and "Guru" when his sister is dying.

    I'll answer for my manly hubby....Pure Country (George Strait) when he sings to his lady love at the end. It's the ONLY movie I've ever seen him cry over.

    Love this thread! I'm surprised I only saw one mention of End of Watch. It's pretty sad at the end but they bring it back up so maybe that's why. Awesome movie though. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it yet...

    This season of the NBC show Parenthood has gotten me at several times.

    I hadn't seen it before this year but its been really strong as well as good in general.
