Rudy, when he sacks the QB.

I had more tears when I watched John Elway's retirement speech, I think I was about 20 and pretty much grew up watching him.

Titanic...Stupid Rose! Had you hopped your *** on the lifeboat like you were supposed to with all the other women and children, Jack would still be alive. But nooo, that would have been too simple I guess. smh

B!t(h could have scooted over on that damn door!

Check out MythBusters... they thoughly covered the myth of whether sharing the door would've saved them both. I won't ruin it for you here; check the website.

Thanks! I was going to run home and check the Myth Busters show about a fictional event so that I could sleep better at night knowing that Rose's actions wouldn't have mattered. :noway:

Well, if you wanna get pissy about it...

Actually, her being found barely alive on the door was real life. I don't know about the Jack part though.

6'2", 230lb ex rugby playing weightlifter here. I cry like a gurl at **everything**.

TV talent shows destroy me, the olympics left me in a puddle of salty tears and just about any film except die hard means I need a lot of tissues...

I don't really cry, but I tear up occasionally in a few films. I rarely am moved by the classic, standard tear-jerker films. Most of them seem so manipulative.

Field of Dreams always gets me at the end when Costner's (spoiler alert!) father shows up, especially when Costner calls him 'Dad'. My father died in 2000, and the movie's effect on me has been amplified since then.

That said, the movie that destroys me is called "In America". I doubt many have seen it but it's a great movie if you get a chance. The scene at the end when the oldest daughter talks to her dad (avoiding spoilers) turns me to jello. It's hard to even think about that scene and the movie in general without feeling that lump in my throat. I also react strongly when I hear music from the soundtrack, even as it plays on the DVD menu. It's that powerful to me. I relate to the father character because I tend to be a wound-up emotionally and I know I suffer like he does because I hold so much in.

Despite all this, I'm proud to say that nobody has actually seen me cry in about a decade. I never observed my father crying and I guess it's important to me to be seen as just as tough emotionally.

Oh man. United 93. My dad worked closely with Todd Beamer (the guy who is credited for saying "Let's roll"). It was tough to watch the flick.

In other words, if a movie has a number in it, you are in trouble. Here's some others to avoid:

    Passenger 57
    Turk 182
    Jennifer Eight
    Eight Men Out
    Oceans 11, 12, and 13
    The Number 23
    The Thirteenth Floor
    Leonard, Part 6

Not the whole movie but this scene from Real Genius:

Chris Knight: So, if there's anything I can do for you - or, more to the point, *to* you - just let me know.
Susan: Can you hammer a six-inch spike through a board with your penis?
    Chris Knight: Not right now.
Susan: A girl's gotta have her standards.

I still cry because I STILLwouldn't be able to sleep with Susan.

Hey, guys, how about the casino scene in Warrior with Tom Hardy and Nick Nolte, and the ensuing scene when Tom Hardy comes back to the hotel room..... They both deserved oscars for that, IMO.

I balled like a baby the first time I saw Jarhead......

I was still in the Marine Corps at the time, and my (then) wife wasn't with me at my duty station. Let's just say when he pops in the video to watch a movie with his buddies.....yeah, hit a little too close to home for me. So I left the theater, went to the bar across the street, and proceeded to get very drunk.

Though I am guessing you didn't have to strangle him in your arms because he had just turned into a dog zombie hell bent with gobbling your brains out.

And now that I'm that father of a little girl...just about anything that deals with harm or death as it relates to kids...

Yeah I refuse to watch "The Road" or read it for just that reason, my wife knows better than to even try to turn it on.
