Lose 10lbs from Feb 1- Mar 1!!

I'm just starting my weightloss journey and I think I'll have more success if I have more accountbility. If I put it in writing I sure as hell better give it my all!
I'm hoping to lose 10 pounds in Feb. I'm going to weigh in friday the 1st, then every friday until friday the first of March, hopefully seeing a 10lb loss! If anyone wants to join and post with me please do! Let's root eachother on!
I'm 25, 5'5 hoping to lose a total of 50lbs by November, what about you?

Welcome to MFP. Setting goals is a great way to give yourself motivation. Remember to reward yourself (non food wise) when you reach a goal0

I'm with you! Let's do it. Exercise 3-4 times a week and chart our food and be good. The reward will be priceless :happy:0

Hi there!! I set my self to loose 10 lbs as well. I still have 4 to go.... I am new at this but I found that keeping a diary of what I eat helps a LOT. And mesure everything I eat so I know hoe many calories I am packing in....
We are here for you if you need us. Support is a big part of this process.

I am just dropping by with a reminder that February is a short month, so 10lbs. is a very aggressive goal. Many of you look to be close to a healthy weight in your photos, making it even more difficult.
From a psychological perspective, goals are much more motivating when they are realistic.0 -

But I am glad to join the group and forget that my goal is slightly differente!
But we DO have a problem... February is a short month and maybe this goal is too aggressive for our bodies, or at least for those who are almost there or have put off a lot of weight.

I am currently doing the Couch 2 5k program, Week 4 starts today! Will start Jillian Michael's 30 day shred on off days. Eating organic, clean foods. Limiting sugar and carbs (they do evil things to my body!!!)
